A terrific little place just a bit off of King St. (So I have no idea why my husbands google map had us walking all over the place to get to the metro station - but we did get there nonetheless.) Private parking in a lot to the rear. This is a lovely property, in a style that I would...

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Never wanted to leave. The Hosts were most attentive. Fresh linens every day. Delicious wine, snacks, cheese, and baked breakfast goods. Beautiful and tastefully decorated townhome. Peaceful garden. Convenient to Old Town Trolley and six blocks from Metro. Had a good night's rest too. Would love to return again.

We have stayed at a number of B&B's over the years, this one is unique. It is a whole charming townhouse on a lovely block in Old Town. It is also perfect if you need a little more privacy than the typical b and b. We especially loved the backyard. While it is not cheap, it is a tremendous value....

I stayed at the 216 B&B and was blown away by the accommodations. The host, Kathryn, went out of her way to make the visit enjoyable. The house is very nicely appointed with a good mix of antique furniture and modern fixtures. The place was spotless and had everything I needed. As mentioned in earlier reviews the breakfast is a...

My husband & I have stayed at this B & B 5 times. The owners make you feel like family. We started going here in 2010 and have gone back 5 times. There is breakfast left for you. There is plenty of extras in the kitchen. This year I brought 5 of my friends to share the wonders of this wonderful...

I stayed here several times and it is wonderful. A couple of very small suggestions: in the winter use comforters on the beds. They are lightweight and cosy for those who tend to be cold when sleeping. (The heating works very well, but I prefer to sleep in a cooler room. Again for winter brighter lifhts in the kitchen would...

We were recommended this place by friends and we were NOT disappointed. Great location, with parking provided, fantastic hosts (who live next door and are very unobtrusive), and a superb house to call home whilst you are in DC. Walking distance to SO many restaurants, walking distance to the Metro and also a fantastic supermarket. There are not enough superlatives...

My wife and I stayed in the 216 B&B with another couple and their daughter (there are three separate bedrooms and 2.5 baths on 3 stories in a narrow townhouse) when we visited D.C. to see the cherry blossoms in early April. The owners live next door and are very nice and accommodating without being intrusive. The townhouse is very...

Can't say enough about this place. I am ready to move in! We were the only ones there and had the whole place to ourselves. I presume it would be shared if others book. It is a full townhouse with living room, den, lovely brick garden in back, up to date rooms and that unbelievable commodity...a parking pass in Alexandria!...

My husband and I went to DC for our honeymoon, and this was everything we thought it would be an more. The hosts are absolutely delightful people, and they always had the sweetest little breakfasts ready for us every morning. (They left it all in the refrigator...no worries they don't come in while you're there.) The townhouse itself is stunning....
