My family had scheduled a Arlington Cemetery ceremony for my grandmother months in advance, and although the original plan was to stay with a relative, COVID rates were increasing and we were asked to find a hotel. The Le Méridien was a last minute selection but we’re so happy we stayed. Customer service was top notch, rooms were clean, and the location was perfect. We decided on not renting a car, and it’s good we didn’t because the location of the hotel is so central we were able to walk to everything. Even the walk to the monuments weren’t too far. My only complaint was the bar was set up weird (due to COVID) wasn’t open every night, and the one bartender didn’t seem to be very experienced and took forever. I understand the hotel had to probably cut back on staff, but it was still annoying.
When it came time to go to the cemetery, it was literally a five minute drive, the hotel is sooo close. Overall a wonderful stay!

Our family has stayed at this property twice, and we have been very satisfied with both stays. On both occasions they offered extremely competitive rates for weekend stays in a location that is just steps away from Georgetown (across the Key Bridge) and very short drives to other DC-area destinations. It is a somewhat unique property, which is part private residences and part hotel, but the rooms are clean and modern and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

I just completed a weekend stay at Le Meridien Arlington and enjoyed my return visit. The staff were courteous and helpful. The location is quite convenient to the major sites in Arlington and just across the bridge from Georgetown and the grand sites of D.C. There are a variety of cafes and restaurants nearby, many offering take-away service. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking to be close to a business or Georgetown this is a fine option, otherwise I recommend literally anywhere else.

I have stayed here probably north of 15 times. The staff is never friendly. The rooms are mediocre at best - I have been placed in a room with broken bathroom sink- and when I called to switch rooms they couldn’t move me.

I landed after a flight and wanted a quick bite so I try to order from the late night menu (10:30pm to 6:30am per the menus in my room) and was told they were closed and to call back after midnight .... who wants to stay up to midnight to get a sandwich?

Getting a refrigerator to my room is the most challenging process I’ve ever gone though. I don’t understand.

I’ve stayed at more Le Meridiens than I can recall and this one simply does not do the brand justice.

It honestly feels like I’m at a budget hotel.

We checked in and went out to the GWU area. When we returned to our room, it smells liked someone smoke in our room. We called the front desk for help, they have someone brought a spray and told us that someone upstairs must be smoking. We were told that we will move the room tomorrow. In the morning, I told them that we don’t want to move, upon returning our key no longer works. I have to go back to the front desk to get it fixed.
I elected to go green to get the points and that point never reflected on my account. Upon checkout, I have a $90 extra charge that I asked for help twice with the front desk and it did not get resolved until I call after we returned. Just too many things that did not go right.

I stayed in this hotel on 5/30/2020 for a night and it was the worst experience across all Marriott properties.

1. Upon arrival and check-in, I used the restroom only to discover that the sink in the bathroom was clogged and slowly leaking water from the bottom onto the floor.
2. I asked for a room change I got another one. Went out in town and came back late. On an 85 degree day, in the middle of night I found out that the Airconditioning was broken and the room just wouldn't call. It took three calls and two trips to the lobby to convince the staff to come look at the malfunction.
3. At 1:45am I was offered to move to another room, one that was the cheapest rate room.

Three moves later I was downgraded to a room rate I did not ask for. But by then I was ready to sleep and leave first thing in the morning.

Never coming back here.

The hotel is conveniently located across the waterfront in Virginia. Our stay of three days (September 28th to 30th) was excellent, right from check-in on 28th evening till check out today morning. We were looked after by the front staff very nicely, especially Ms Emma H, being extremely hospitable with clarity, to the comfort of guests.
Restaurant facilities are worth its value, not only hygienic, the staff is also very patient, coordinates very well for requirements of the guests (a special credit to Ms Addis).
Our experience of staying in the room is very good, nice housekeeping, impeccable furnishing, their staff response also deserves a special mention.

First off, I would like to express my gratitude to Hazel Hagans, who provided seamless customer service! She is an amazing hostess and a leader, with an eye for details.

Pros:
1. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and we had no problems with running water. Although it would be nice to see the room renovated and the windows cleaned.
2. We were provided with a coffee machine in the room. The reception desk was generous with supplies for it.
3. The hotel's location is PERFECT.
4. The price is reasonable.

Cons:
1. I got a little bit disappointed when I was checking in. It was perplexing, clumsy, and lacking customer service. My check-in took a long time. Besides that, I found the customer service to be well executed.
2. Wi-fi didn't work steadily.
3. I totally understand, the Covid -19 situation complicates providing the best quality everything, nevertheless the housekeeping services should be offered more than one time within 4 days.

Summing it up, it was a pleasant stay!

Very upset with the parking situation and the way the General manager handled the situation with us and another customer. As stated in the website, a $30/day parking rate will be charged for each car. The GM mentioned that she sent an email to each of us the day before check-in regarding hourly rate parking fees and no in/out privileges etc. Most of us were already on the road. Unacceptable, disappointing and unprofessional! We immediately checked out the next morning as well as the other couple who actually canceled their entire reservation that night and decided to stay at another hotel. The General manager actually told them to either park on the street ( busy part of Rosslyn) or head to another hotel if they did not agree to the parking fees with no in/out privileges. When we asked her if our parking rate can exceed $100+/ night she said yes.

Hotel is not even that nice. You have to take 3 elevators to get to your room from the parking lot. Such a shame!

What a financial loss for Marriott Bonvoy hotels due to mismanagement from Le Meridien's General Manager.

Lobby is on 4th floor and so is access to guest rooms, so you had to take two different elevators to get to your room. Small hotel with a restaurant bar on fourth floor. Had a couple issues with the room that were fixed the same day we requested maintenance. Thermostats throttled to never go higher than 80 but room never got anywhere near than by the large windows on a cold night, had to wear a pullover in room. Never received housekeeping on second day of stay because we were working remotely from room until noon. No coffee in lobby unless you wanted a $6 cup from the restaurant, they did have coffee maker in room but not enough K-cups.

Fantastic location. You can walk across the bridge to Georgetown. Only 1 1/2 blocks to Rosslyn Metro Station. Several restaurants within walking distance. I’d stay here again for the location but not so much for the hotel.
