My wife and I were just looking to get away for the night and planned to visit the breweries in New Glarus and Monroe. While researching for things to do, dinner, etc. I stumbled across this B&B and thought it would be perfect. I was right! The house was beautiful and the accomodations cozy. Ken was a very gracious host...

We stayed 6 nights w/ Margie & Ken for the first time in late Sept.- early Oct. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest and loved it! It is so cozy and homey up there.....Margie's decorating style is unique, creative, and wonderful. There is a lot of room w/ 2 good-sized bedrooms,(quite comfortable beds), a very nice sitting area/living room,(a DVD...

We have been staying with Margie and Ken for several years now. Their hospitality is unmatched and the property is lovely. The rooms are comfortable and furnished with Margie's exquisite taste in antiques, art, and whimsy. We initially went there to cycle the Sugar River Trail, but there is a wealth of interesting activities and places in this area of...

I agree with John A. This is the Jewel of B& B's. My Husband and I stayed in the lovely river cottage to celebrate his birthday. It was beautifully decorated, maintained and a very relaxing setting. It was the perfect location to get to New Glarus, Little Norway, Mt Horeb, Monticello and Monroe. We loved exploring these and driving through...

My cousin and I just returned from a wonderful, relaxing trip to the Albany House B&B. (Actually our purpose of traveling from the East Coast to Southern Wisconsin was to stay at this B&B and we were not disappointed.) It is located in the small village of Albany, along the Sugar River, surrounded by picturesque rolling farmland. The beautiful 100+...

My boyfriend and I had such a nice time at their River Cottage!! It was a perfect location for us to go explore all the cute little towns around them. We really enjoyed the brewerly tours and creamery tours and the summer festivals.

My boyfriend and I stayed here after living outside the country for a year. It was a wonderful transition back to the United States. The area is quiet without much to do (but that was fine for us) and the house is comfortable (we were in the Rose Room). The breakfasts were FANTASTIC. We have stayed at several B&Bs over...

My husband and I came to Albany to bike the Sugar River Trail. The Albany House was just a few minutes drive from our trailhead which was great after a long day of riding. We stayed on a Sunday evening and there was only 1 other couple in the house which made for a very quiet stay. We enjoyed our...

My wife and I recently rented the Albany House cottage for a month and to our delight agreed to accept our dog. Largely an uneventful stay, a clogged toilet aside, in a nice town. On checkout, Margie told us she was keeping our $500 deposit! No reason, no list of charges, nothing. Goodbye, good luck and thanks for the money....

We spent one of our most relaxing evenings in recent memory at the Albany House. This is a very well thought out B&B. Everything you needed was there where you needed it: a footstool, a throw blanket, a fire all ready to light. We were the only guests as we travel during non-peak times, and we enjoyed spending the evening...

“Remember, the cottage doesn't include breakfast since it's a separate building so if you prefer not to cook yourself, stay in the Albany bed and breakfast house or dine in one of the wonderful restaurants in the towns listed above that are conveniently minutes away. :)”
