Avery nice guesthouse that feels old end genuine. Very clean and well kept. Rooms are very nice. Small but nice private bath. The owner is so helpful in every way. As they dont serve dinner we bought some food in a store and had it in a small living room in the middle of the house. The owner welcomed us...

The architecture of this Ryokan is interesting , old and very traditional. Comfort is minimal and the toilets and showers were quite far from the room. I had to go across a bridge with only the light from my I-phone to get to the toilet in the middle of the night. When we arrived, around noon, we were met by...

If you want a great cultural experience at a great price, stay here! This was my first time in Japan and also my first solo trip in a foreign country so I was pretty worried. The staff are probably my favorite thing about this place. SUPER friendly and willing to answer any questions I had like, "How do I get...

When we arrived we had a warm welcome from the owners of the place. We didn't notice at the time; they had a row of flags of different nationalities who are currently staying there on their desk. Including ours! Location Trainstation. 5 to 8 minutes. - 8 minutes ("I'm on a holiday! I have all the time in the word...

Hoshidekan is an attractively ramshackle and traditional inn in a large old wooden building in the Kawasaki district of Ise, about 10 minutes walk from the station. The rooms are Japanese style with shared bathrooms, and there's free wifi. The room rates are very competitive. But, as other reviewers have advised, check in advance whether breakfast is included. Bicycles are...

The small cheap ryokans are the more memorable stays of my japanese trips. Forget about business hotel, just try something different! This place was really lovely and extremely cheap, although it was a little cold to go to the toilet and washrooms, as there is an actual outdoor bridge connecting the two sections of the house. Traditional tatami room. Nice...

Our ryokan in Ise-She was a charming old historic building. The room was spacious enough. Finding the shared bathroom however was a minor quest... three connecting buildings were responsible for this. The hosts were very friendly and helpfull. They also showed us the soundgarden, very nice. Since there are shared bathrooms, a light in the hallway always need to be...

The whole building is already worth visiting. A red bridge is at the 2nd floor. Beautiful interior design. Rooms are designed in traditional Japanese style. Pillow is made of beans. For me it is acceptable, but my girlfriend felt it was too hard. Bathroom and restroom are shared. Toothpaste, toothbrushes and hair dryer are all available. For shower, we had...

This ryokan has a lot of character. The building has a nice interior garden, a red bridge between some of the rooms, the rooms are Japanese style but quite large, very comfortable. Good wifi, nice bath, and very friendly owner and staff. We did not try the meals so we cannot comment. A useful tip for you: They rent bikes...
