Stayed here for a couple of nights. There isn't much of a view (the title implies the view is "scenic" but the lake is beyond the trees, but the place is very simple and clean. The owners are very friendly and we found our stay to be very quiet. If you're just passing through and want a clean, very reasonably...

My family of 4 needed a last-minute place to stay over Labor Day weekend. Nearly everything was booked, but we were relieved when we found a room at Scenic Shore Inn. We are so glad we stumbled upon this locally owned place! The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are fresh and clean. While the breakfast is not...

My sister and I decided to find a place to stay in Algoma so we could spend the day at Crescent beach. There aren't a lot of places to stay. We didn't want a B&B as those often require some degree of socializing. We landed on this place. For a Sunday night we paid $85 which included tax. Really really...

Traveled with two teenage boys and a service dog to visit family. We had a very late night flight and called ahead to make arrangements for a local family member to pick up our room keys earlier that day. The owner was extremely accommodating with our service dog and the key arrangements. Since we were staying for an entire week...

En route to an impromptu weekend getaway, we ended up desperately looking for a book now hotel near Door County. A 2 story open stairwell hotel would not have been my first choice. Oh my goodness, I loved this placed!! The owner was very friendly at check in and knowledgeable regarding the area. The rooms were exceptionally clean and modern!...

Stayed here with my 3 teenage children when we spent a couple days in Door County. The price was just what I wanted to spend. Close enough to all the places we wanted to go and just far enough out to have the right price. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan with an awesome beach and boardwalk right down the road....

We needed to stay overnight in Algoma for an ice fishing trip early the next day, and found this great little place on the main road. The staff was super friendly and the room was super clean. Comfortable beds and enough pillows, too. We had a couple of requests which they were happy to fulfill, like a 2nd floor room,...

My husband and I went to a Monday Night Packer game and were looking for a place to stay. The Green Bay area hotels required a minimum 2 night stay so we found this hotel on Trip Advisor and were pleased we could just book one night. The place is very clean, easy to find and good value. They even...

Everything good you read in the reviews of this motel are totally true. It's hard to add anything new. If you are a "mom and pop"/family owned motel type there are no negatives. It is well cared for and maintained, obviously with pride. Our room was spotless. The furniture is a neat 1970's-ish style (but who cares) in like new...
