This is my second time to visit Hirosaki. Last time is the high season for Sakura viewing, I can only get a very poor hotel at very high rate. In that visit, I think ART hotel (named as Hotel Naqua City at that time) looks decent with good location. This time, I changed my itinerary at the very last minute... More

Stayed for 2 nights, it is right next to JR station and bus stop. It has a 7-eleven store on the ground floor just outside the hotel. The lobby is modern and rooms are good but bit worn out. We ate dinner buffet on Sunday night in their Chef's Recipe restaurant. Wow, the variety of food is vast....chinese, western, japanese... More

Very nice hotel located near bus and train stations and within reasonable walking distance to major sight-seeing attractions. Excellent restaurant buffets for both breakfast and dinner. Great selection of Japanese, Western, and local dishes. Hotel staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating.

This hotel was okay, but not amazing. The staff were friendly, but the English from most of them wasn't great (fair enough really, but made it very difficult to do things like book restaurants). The room was nice enough - typical Japanese room with a small bathroom and a relatively small bedroom. Great location next to the station, though. About... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe twin room with a view of Mt Iwaki. It is very close to the station and loop bus stop. The hotel has a small shopping arcade attached and a 7 -11 store. The room was clean and well appointed. The beds comfortable. The bathroom was small, a deep bath and adequate... More

As I have planned to visit Goshogawara by JR the other day, I chose to stay with the Hotel Naqua City Hirosaki, which is very conveniently located next to the JR station. Other than its excellent location, this hotel does provide good breakfast and is budget friendly.

I booked a twin room, the beds were suprising spacious, just big enough for two pillows across. The bath and room were bigger that the slightly cheaper chain business hotels i often stay in. The hotel has a nice cafe. Though the walls are quite thin, I could hear my son playing from the elevator but i didn't hear anyone else... More

You really appreciate how close this hotel is to the station if it's 0 degrees and snowing! However there aren't too many good places to eat nearby, mainly izakaya and the more expensive hotel restaurants. Rooms are small though the bathroom is adequate with Polar toiletries, there's also a good humidifier in the room. There's a buffet breakfast with excellent... More

Right next to the train station. Internet access for all you "gijin" Americans. Reasonable price, again get the breakfast, you will not be disappointed. Remember, these are "Japanese" hotel rooms. So if you have lots of luggage and may be a little larger than the normal Japanese, recommend a larger room. Although the Japanese are very meticulous to detail, one... More

There are several hotels next to the Hirosaki JR station, this hotel is the best value for money. The room and bathroom are clear and spacious, the breakfast has loads of variety with good seasoning. However, I think it does need some maintenance, as most of the carpet in the breakfast lounge are wearing-off. This hotel is about 2 minutes... More
