Nice hotel, luxury room not significantly different to normal rooms for the £50 price difference.nice rooom with lots of hot water. Very clean and staff attentive , helpful and polite.weather good. Downside; lots of maintenance work going on at the hotel and a marina being built taking next 2 to 3 years. Very noisy and works leaking mud into the otherwise crystal clear water of the bay. Virtually none of the food on the menu is available. Out of only 4 desserts they had none left! No one knew how to make any of the cocktails on the bar menu. They had to google the recipe. If the bosses attend to these details it will be a great place to come.5 hour drive from Tirana airport can be replaced by flight to Corfu and brief cheap ferry to Seranda.

We enjoyed the top floor stay with exceptional seaside access and helpful and engaging staff. Very good people who care for your experience and are growing and building too. We enjoyed the Chef too - great meals here. If you come, you’re supporting local family and business in a beautiful way.

Epirus was a nice surprise, but getting there can be scary, with streets full of pebbles, no lighting and a lot of trash just outside of it with dogs and cows eating the garbage (the dogs' barking can be noisy at night). However the hotel itself is a haven of tranquillity, with a lovely private beach, 2 bars, a nice restaurant with a terrace and a very friendly staff, which is mostly one single family who runs the business. The restaurant had very few choices among the ones indicated on the menu, but the food was amazing and fresh..just overpriced, because it was more expensive than any other restaurant where we ate in town (even Limani or Mare Nostrum, which are the best ones according to me), but still cheap compared to European standards. The room is comfortable, white-sheeted and the bed firm. They change towels daily, which is nice but they don't know how to clean throroughly or make the bed and throw your pajamas where they like. The shower has a curtain but still after taking a shower water is almost everywhere, but I think it's common in this area. Buffet breakfast has a lot of choices and is fresh, included in the price of the room which is very low. There were no cakes or croissants but still, there were many choices for healthy and yummy food.
Once, during our stay, it rained and our room got flooded within half hour. They threw towels on the ground and wanted to fix the problem, offering us to change room for one night and then go back there, but who wants to move room twice in two days? it's too much of a hassle moving two suitcases of stuff, so we declined. They told us we'd have to wait 30 mins then, so they could fix it, and offered to wait at the bar and have a coffee. But noone was at the bar (no staff, no waiters) and noone got us any coffee during the wait. Another thing worth mentioning is that in room 107, the door doesnt touch the floor. there are at least 2 or 3 centimeters so you can hear everything going on in the halls and others can hear you, too. Fixing the door could be a good solution. Except for these incovenients, our stay was very nice, even if not all of the stuff could speak English. But with Greek and Italian and gestures and a lot of kindness, we were always understood. we felt safe also during the walk to the hotel, which is a bit more than 1 km from the town centre, but it wasn't that bad. and taxis are cheap there, too.
The hotel also has wifi that works and two bars or while lounging on the chairs of their private beach, waiters will bring you anything you want right under your umbrella. Our room also had a nice small balcony, where we could dry our towels or play cards and the hotel is surrounded by green, other beaches and we could relax in total freedom.
definitely cheap for the money we paid.. if they fixed the water/shower/door in the room, I would have given them waaay more credits, but we can't complain as for that price, we weren't even expecting to find hot water :)
Albania is amazing and its people are friendly, Saranda is worth a visit!

If you are looking for a nice quiet get away don’t come here. The hotel is a 2-3 star beach hotel. No one cares about service but only $$. The hotel beach is packed so you most likely will pay a very high price for a sea view room but will not be able to get a chair on the beach by water because it is packed with locals so you won’t get a chair and umbrella to relax by the beach unless maybe you are by the water at 5:30. Also if you ask for restaurant recommendations you will only get one which is there own. The food is not good. The apartment that we rented is a nice view but it needs some things. No blanket for the bed so we will buy one. No coffee, no tea, no ice. It’s the very bare minimum. The shades in the room will fall down on you because they are in bad condition so don’t try to adjust them. So you will need to sleep in a light room from the sun and wake up at 6:00 while on vacation. Oh and breakfast is only served from 7 am to 9:30 am. So honestly this hotel is maybe a 3 star hotel. If we could have moved out without loosing our money we would have high tailed it out. Not at all a nice
Vacation spot.

Never in my life have I paid 83 euros/night for a room that is overlooking the parking lot and a greedy owner qualifies it as seaside view. Just because it s on the side of the hotel and the hotel is facing the sea doesn’t make a room
side seaview room. While they were trying to explain to me the difference between frontal view and side sea view like that was my problem and not the fact that that is a ground floor room where the cars are parked literally in front of my so called balcony. After a short discussion with the girl at reception where she shrugged her shoulders saying there is nothing they can do and that this is the only room they have they showed me a way smaller room but from
which you can actually see the sea. After claiming that there is nothing they can do from their side to cancel that booking they asked me to cancel from my side. I did it and I asked them to wave the fees but they pretend not to receive the request. 11 at night and pregnant I decided to give up as there is nothing I could have done. This is a refurbished hotel. You can see it everywhere. Nowhere on the planet would this qualify as a 3 star hotel. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Booked a room with side sea view and got a ground room floor overlooking the parking lot and the restaurant (next to the main road). Besides shrugging their shoulders and having no idea about the cancelation policy on the website they barely speak English and have a child working in reception. The hotel really looks run down, the AC is horrible, the breakfast included in the rate is a joke. Being pregnant and arriving at 9 PM I gave up on arguing with them. One said that I have to stay one night, the other said they will charge the total amount if I cancel , then they pretended they didn’t receive my cancelation request... what a joke! Consider it charity because this was not paying for a service provided. False advertising for a crappy hotel. the pictures I posted speak for themselves. Absolutely disgusting!!!

We had a very pleasant stay at Epirus hotel in saranda. We always got sunbeds and the beach is very nice. However we would not recommend it for elderly people as there are quite a lot of stairs down to the beach.

Our room was large and nice and clean. We had a lovely balcony with a sea view as booked and it did not disappoint.

The staff was very helpful, we asked them for taxis twice.

The breakfast is probably very traditional but with lots of nice fruit and baked goods.

We would definitely recommend this hotel.

So, everyone who wishes to visit Saranda can get great deal at this hotel!
The price is very reasonable, we had breakfast included, it was ok and tasty.
The hotel is at the beach and sunbeds are included which is a major bonus.
The greatest thing about the hotel is the staff, they are VERY helpful and kind.
Special thanks to Jeton (Tony) and Imena at the reception, for making our stay very pleasant.
Would visit again :)

I stayed at Epirus Hotel for a few days in September, 2021. I found the rooms to be very new, clean and comfortable. The view from my balcony was breathtaking. Employees were doing their best, but they couldn't speak very good English. They tried and did their best though. You could easily walk to the port and promenade, and there are many restaurants around the hotel. I would definitely recommend it!

Epirus was a wonderful introduction to Albania. Approaching it can be daunting - the tar runs out and flat blocks surround. However the hotel itself is a haven of tranquillity. I received a warm welcome from all the staff and felt like one of the family. They cooked a large fish for lunch which was shown to me fresh before cooking. The room is comfortable, white-sheeted and the bed firm. There is an extensive menu to enjoy on the terrace overlooking Kerkyra (Corfu). I had a single night but hope to be back. I went to Albania with an idea it might be unfriendly and dangerous - it was the opposite.
