It is a simple hotel. The staf is friendly. The room is clean. The minibar is poor equiped. There is a restaurant available and breakfast is not bad. There is also a swimmingpool for the quests. It is situated on walking distance to the beach(just across the road )

If you're doing business at Ilhéus then this is a mid-range place to stay, nearer the industrial district than any other hotel in the region and from the balcony you can see the Port of Ilhéus. It attends the needs for sleeping a couple of nights, good breakfast, but you must have a car to move yourself as there's no any restaurante nearby.

The hotel is old, dirty, serivce is worst. The localization is terrible even being in front of the beach.

Cons: extremely old and dingy, insecticide provided and weird bug bites, poorly controlled AC, bad service, terrible location on the disgusting municipal beach kind of in the ghetto and far from center, feels a bit unsecure and unsafe, bad wifi connection, dangerous step in bathroom that led to almost breaking an ankle

I did a terrible experience in Barravento hotel, I can describle to follow points.:
- I spent the long weekend had no hot water for bathing.
- The rooms comes with a gift bottle of insecticide.
- Attendance at the reception is poor, I took an earful on borrow an iron.
- The control of air conditioning withtout batterie to turn-on the equipament.
- When work, the system of wire-less internet is very poor.
- The dinner, expensive than the dinner is very weak!
