Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere, private beach, impeccable cleanliness, attentive staff. Also leave here the recommendation of Uber driver Frederico, unparalleled service, if you are interested, he offers a trip to the Irerê farm with personalized service. Driver contact: (73)99903-0202. And at the Bataclan, the service provided by the guide Alberto also deserves to be showcased here with unparalleled excellence, you can go because it's worth it.

We stayed there for 3 days, a friend’s referral. Rooms are quiet, clean and cozy; the setting is very relaxing.
The restaurant is fantastic; Daniela, the chef/owner takes great care of the guests. All the staff is very friendly and caring..

Very romantic place. Be sure to enjoy full moon dinner. The food it’s very gourmet and outstanding. The kind of food you would find in high end restaurants. This place make you feel like you’re somewhere else different than Ilheus. I love it.

We planned the trip with about three months in advance, because we knew that the New Year would be a well-debated time! Initially it seemed like the dream trip, a price for a super inviting New Year (well below Resorts of the region) and at the same time a super casual proposal, a kind of silent luxury, seemed to be a boutique hotel with views of the sea, on the sand, with a fantastic pool and a restaurant with exclusive dishes, signed by a famous local chef! It was all we were looking for for the turn of the year, exclusivity and a Praian comfort!
However, when we arrived at the site All our expectations were water below, an entrance without signage, without portaria seeming abandoned terrain, with signage only after 1 km showing the reception, in which we were very badly received by the employees, who with very bad mood indicated that our room would be at the top of the hill( which possessed a very poor access, with extremely accidental stairs, without any wheelchair or bodyguard- who has any problem of mobility, neither think to go)
The room that by the way, has no interphone, does not take the internet signal (which by the way only takes in the hostel reception and with a lot of cost in the restaurant), the bathroom had infiltration and problems in the shower and the first day the air conditioning did not work right
The positive points go to the manager Dominique, who kindly and attentively, managed to solve these problems from the room and always trying to help somehow
Another amazing employee was Ana Paula, who treated us divinely well during every day, with great care and attention
Another highlight is the restaurant, which has a touch of luxury without losing the beach style, detail that extends to the dishes, quietly compared to the high French gastronomy with touch of Bavarian regionalism, all the high-production dishes, all this allied to the sea view of the restaurant, which is broken by the lack of cleanliness of the tables!
Another positive point was the New Year party held by the chef of the hostel, facing the sea, with a buffet of very high standard and quality, with good DJ, really a great party
To conclude, the ordinary airports despite being beautiful and with paradisiacal landscapes were poorly cared for and needed urgent repairs and the swimming pool was very busy!

The hotel has an incredible view, several areas to rest with a view of the sea, a wonderful heated pool that is just dirty and poorly maintained, like everything in this guesthouse needs to be well looked after. The whole environment of the inn is full of sewage, especially in the bathrooms, a lot of smell of cat pee, there are a lot of cats, breakfast I missed savory items, there were a lot of sweets, part of the bathroom stall was very dirty and the shower was in room 20 It's clogged and water comes out everywhere, this hotel needs to signal that people with mobility difficulties cannot
Go because the rooms are very high up and there are a lot of stairs to climb

Unfortunately, the service is terrible, the service is slow, they don't care about the customer. We arrived as 2 couples and ordered several starters and the main course, we waited around 40 minutes and not even the drinks had arrived. After all this time, the waiter informed us that the kitchen would not take any orders from us, as the chef owner had left. When we left we came face to face with the owner and there was not even an apology. Unfortunately, on islanders, such terrible service is not uncommon. I don't recommend it if you don't want to be angry. There are better restaurants in the city with good service, like Vesúvio for example.

Perhaps there are better rooms? We’ve been travelling along the Bahia coast and stayed in some lovely pousadas. Then we arrived here, the most expensive by far so far. They’ve stuck us in a shabby windowless room, dilapidated, old furniture, airless. Instead of a minibar a broken fridge (empty, not even shelves). Very old bathroom and zero toiletries of course. Sand in the bed. Really pretty disgusting at the price.

The view from the hotel is amazing.
The food in the restaurant is really good, the best thing about the hotel.

The hotel is way too expensive compared to what you get.
We paid around 170 US $ per. night around Christmas and New Year.
First, we got a room at the very back of the hotel. It seemed like the room had not been in use for a very long time. The smell inside was terrible and generally very humid and dirty. After we complained, we were able to move to a better room after 2 days. The hotel generally needs maintenance. The photos here in Booking.com is really photoshop images. Everything is nice, but nothing compared to what you see on the pictures.
The owner of the hotel is constantly around having an eye on everything, this makes the atmosphere quite tense.

Great place!!!! A worderful blend between simplicity/rusticity and sofistication. The restaurant is wonderful, chef de cuisine Dani could be cooking in any other place in the world. And the price is fair enough! She deserves all the prizes received. The acomodations are rustic. If you have a problem to sleep in soft mats, it's worth talking to Dominique before booking, she fits everything! They have different types of rooms, in different locations (some can demand an extra physical effort). The place is on the beach, with many 'lounges' to relax. Good taste on decoration, paysagism, food. It was a perfect week! Excelent staff also!
