I love staying at this guesthouse, it is beautiful and charming. The apartments are small, but very cozy, clean, with comfortable beds and soft, scented sheets. One of the most hygienic I know, the vases are always sanitized and the breakfast is unique! 😍They serve breakfast in the apartment, which has a small balcony with a table and chairs...I love it! The coffee is chosen by the guest at check-in, they offer a list with a huge variety of delicacies and the coffee is served at the time the guest chooses! It arrives in a cart with everything we chose, all covered in PVC film and warm... a real pleasure for the palate! The receptionists are friendly and receptive... congratulations to the management and team!

Very well attended, very close to the beach. Family atmosphere, very clean, great option on the beach. Well located. Safe. Very good menu option and fair prices. Coffee by appointment, you select the time and food options, juices, etc.

The place is ran by the family who first established the theis home, shared it with guests and then built more rooms and apartments on the surroundings. The family and employees are very carefull and thoughfull. The owner offered to take me and my daughters, back and forth, to a restaurant near it. Place is very clean, neat, has all equipments in order and operating. Breakfast is home made and delicious. The place is impecable. It was a pleasant surprise find this family and place in Ilheus for such a good value. I recommend! The only thing that I missed was lunch and dinner. They could offer to guests.

The location is good, it's close to the beach, the outside is very charming, but it stops there. The ad said it was a buffet breakfast, but it is served in the room, there are few options and it is very difficult to change any food. I spent 6 days eating the same things. Food packaged one by one in plastic. Zero sustainable. While there are several inns and hotels reducing plastic consumption, this inn contributes to the opposite. In a place like Ihéus, they should be more aware. Room with no HO space and only 1 outlet. There was only one table on the balcony, which was for coffee, but the table couldn't be placed inside the room because it couldn't fit through the door and it was impossible to work outside because of the heat. Bad internet. I went to work first, but I had to route it from my cell phone to be able to answer emails. Some people at reception were grumpy. Anyway... I don't recommend the inn

We stayed here on our first trip to Brazil. The rooms are basic but clean and well finished. Good shower, the air conditioning works very well and is very quiet so we could have it on at night - good when staying in summer! We opted for a room with a patio which means a large tiled balcony with hammock. This was great, although my only suggestion would be as the rooms are double it would be nice to have a chair for the second person- we took it in turns for the hammock! Free WiFi works well, and there is a computer for guests use. Fridges in the rooms, large enough to store your own drinks and also well stocked with reasonably priced drinks. The family who run the hotel are lovely - the owner and his children speak a little English, which was very useful to us - they are also happy to try and help, eg using translate on the PC when we were stuck! They have pet guinea pigs who live in the garden and also pet birds who roam free in the garden in the day who are very tame. The breakfasts are as good as the pictures show, very large range of foods. The hotel is a few doors away from the beach which is beautiful and so large that it was never crowded while we were there. There are a couple of restaurants nearby on the main road and some beach bars that do food too, although it is mainly hotels. There is more in south ilheus - took us 20 mins to walk to the area near the airport, this was the nearest shops that we could see. There are buses to the city or short trip if in a car. I imagine ilheus doesn't get many English tourists and whilst we enjoyed our stay bear in mind that you need at least a little knowledge of Portuguese to get by - at least to direct taxis and understand restaurant menus. Taxi from the hotel to bus station was around 30Rs and meals locally between 20-80Rs. Nb the rooms don't have safes, but the hotel is surrounded by walls and reception staff buzz you in from seeing you on CCTV - it felt very safe and we didn't have any concerns leaving things in our room. Adapters - the plugs are the two pin recessed types. We couldn't find an adapter to fit (due to the shape not the pins) but we were able to charge our phones from the PC which was handy!
