Cana Brava All Inclusive Resort offers a polarizing experience; its rooms are noted for their spaciousness and coziness, yet some guests have pointed out cleanliness issues and service delays. While the resort's service is generally admired for its friendliness and professionalism, the value is questioned, particularly regarding food options. The serene beachfront location garners praise, though it's coupled with some concerns about limited attractions. The atmosphere is recognized as cozy and family-friendly, but the entertainment and room climate receive mixed reviews. Amenities are well-regarded, especially the variety of food and entertainment, yet some improvements are suggested. Cleanliness is overall satisfactory, with room for enhancements in timeliness and thoroughness.

Positive points: The structure is very good. The food is very good, the pools are warm and clean. The beach is very good and there are all beach services available. For those with children; the place is excellent, my son loved it, especially the kids club. The night always has some really fun attractions. We have mass on Sundays. The Coco dendê restaurant is wonderful, with attention to the collaborator Fabio, who is very attentive and friendly. The collaborators also deserve to be well evaluated: Alan, Robert.

Negative points: We arrived and check-in took a long time, the bars and bathrooms smelled very bad (there are not enough people to clean). The main restaurant had days when the air conditioning was not turned on; making it impossible for us to have a peaceful meal, the soda machines almost always run out of drinks. The sea freight restaurant is full of flies and the food served there is the leftover breakfast from the main restaurant. You can see on the face that they are reheated. Most of the employees work in a bad mood (I believe it is due to the long workload and the exhausting heat) the beach and other areas need to be cleaned frequently, as people do not cooperate and throw rubbish and leftover food everywhere. In swimming pools the same situation, there were people smoking in the water, eating in the water and eating ice cream, dirtying the water. This needs to be monitored. There are no umbrellas in the pools, there are too many people for little shade and sun loungers. And pool opening hours should be extended, as it is in the late afternoon that the pool is at its most enjoyable. Another situation is hot beer, they cannot meet demand. Another situation that left me very intrigued; It was the distance from the Baby Cup. We stayed in the luxury apartment. To heat the water in my son's bottle I had to walk a long distance. An important tip! They could put a simple microwave and a water filter in each block. And also for everyone who has small children; could accommodate in ground floor rooms

Pros:
- Various activities available at the resort and very lively parties
- very good food and with plenty of varieties in breakfast, lunch and dinner, besides that each day is a different theme dinner.
- Super nice pools, with the water at very good temperature, besides that the sea water is also not frozen
- The beach is also great and both the pools and the beach, had plenty of optional loungers
- Distinction to Uncle King who is very friendly and lively and to Alan who collects the dishes and cleans the tables in the main restaurant, very friendly and fun
- The sandwiches and fruit salad that the staff passes delivering in the infinite edge pool are very good

Cons:
- The service has no standard, some employees are more friendly, agile and more willing to serve well, while others do not provide a good service
- Could have more options of places to pick up the snacks and snacks and more people making the pizzas and hamburgers not to stay in line so long
- Don't have coca, just Pepsi
- Could have some natural juice options
- The pools could be open at least until 9:00
- Could be available in the snack bar the sandwiches and fruit salad that deliver in the infinite edge pool
- We were in 2 couples and one of the rooms had a problem several times to open, having to wait a few minutes to be able to resolve and the couple to get into the room, one of the maids informed that there had been a problem before in this same room with other guests, so it is something that is happening frequently and needs to be resolved.
- Has walkers on the beach selling tours
- Has people approaching to sell resort accommodation club
- The service of WhatsApp final 4904 left to be desired because before buying the flight I asked if it was possible to use the common areas and meals of the Resort after checkout, leaving the bags at the reception and informed that yes, however, they did not say that there would be an additional cost for this, we found out only after we arrived. We arrived at the check-in at 19:00 due to the flight schedule, so you could have done a kindness to let us use the common areas after checkout for at least the same period of 4 hours that we were late for check-in, since when the person arrives on the first day they let use before the check-in time, should follow the same logic. We tried to check this possibility with the reception, but we were not granted, only gave a discount to stay until 15:30, but we ended up not staying pq for the amount charged is more advantage eating at the airport itself.

Below is a little of our experience at Cana Brava... We arrived on 24/07 and left on 02/08... Until our arrival at the resort, communication with them was poor... it didn't exist. .. the robotic channels are terrible.... The place is nice and very clean.... wooded and in a pleasant climate.... I won't make comparisons with other resorts with the same theme, as each one has its own particularity... Food and drinks ok, as expected... each place has more or less to offer..... But my experience at Coco Dendê was terrible.... we didn't have dinner and we were angry. .... (subject reported to site governance). Above average recreation team... Popcorn and CIA, you did very well...... above average organization... In fact, all the employees, without exception, are top notch.... If there is something or someone to be charged, and the senior management of the resort... of the shareholders/investors.... Cleaning and control of food notes a thousand.... all the time, I saw the nutritionists making the collections and taking them for analysis... Cold swimming pools .... a resort can't have this as a negative point...... the management needs to take a note about it... Overall, it was good.... We stayed in the Premium Villa room, which I didn't see anything too much to charge such an extra amount.... Streaming service almost didn't work on the TV... Basic replacement in the freezer, and regular internet... nothing much.... As a note, I would give a total rating of 07......

If it were a separate rating, for the minimasters and staff 10..... for cleaning, a rating of 10........ for the pools, a rating of 5... and for the management of the resort, a rating of 6

Chaos began upon arrival. We made a reservation for 2 bedrooms. We arrive at 13, check-in is at 15hrs. As we arrived early we asked to rearrange the location of the rooms so that we stayed close, as they had placed our rooms in separate blocks. Employee Laisla Lopes was extremely rude, indifferent and impatient, said q could not guarantee the exchange and that he would talk to the supervisor, but that we would only know the location of our rooms at 15hrs. We were having a baby of a year and a half and I was 7 months pregnant. She saw our situation and we informed that in addition we needed to stay close to the grandparents who would be our support during the stay. At 15hrs we found that we were placed on the third floor of the building without elevator and far from all facilities. Because this, in the middle of the second fair and asking 2hrs before check-in, supposedly would be the only availability of nearby rooms and that if we wanted the next day they would exchange us for a ground floor room (and still only 1 of the rooms).I begged them to be able on the day pq discharge and package with a baby would be terrible, I was already exhausted from the trip. But terror isn't just on check-in. Beach chairs are dirty and unloaded, there is no staff to serve you on the beach, loud music on the beach, loud music at dinner, lunch and breakfast. Buffet with cold food, some low-quality items, have q pick very well. Cheese bread already comes out of the kitchen frozen. Acid coconut water. Dirty dishes and glasses, very nasty dishes. Never had small spoonfuls in the restaurant for desserts and feeding the baby. Me and my husband had a heartburn every day. No shadow on the way from accommodation to other facilities. No shadow in the toy area and nowhere in the pool. The door to the room was broken. The resort has luxury price, but delivers fifth-grade resort service with an equal audience. Any quieter guesthouse is worth more than the chaos of being staying in the cana brava. Flies everywhere.

We stayed at the resort for a week, at first our room was the luxury apartment, full of mosquitoes (there was no poison), smelling of mold, the floor was all splashed and slippery and we were 2 people, but there was only a towel for 1. The first impression was Very bad, it seems like they didn't prepare the room for us, very unpleasant. Then they offer you to pay a high price to go to the premium villa, the best location in the resort and we went, this one was better, cleaner and actually prepared to receive someone. The food leaves something to be desired, there is a lack of options such as hearts of palm and salami, there were hearts of palm twice a week. Every day there is risotto, pasta, etc. but we missed lasagna, for example, some different options. For breakfast only 1 day there was chicken pie, wonderful by the way, but only 1 day? The breads were hard and we didn't try the cakes. I found it unpleasant that there were cats walking around the restaurant. The meat was also very roasted, there was a day when there was picanha but it was impossible to eat, it was so fried it was hard. We already went to a hotel that wasn't a resort and the person was frying the steaks on the spot, you just walked by and picked them up. Maybe it's an alternative. Lots of cold food too. The snack bar was good, pizza, hamburger, pasta, everything was very good. We found the entertainment for adults to be very weak, the activities panel is somewhat hidden and the schedule is not 100% followed. Sunday was volleyball day and there was none. I think that every morning an entertainer should be at the restaurant door with the day's schedule, some basic challenge worth a small gift from the hotel, symbolic just to interact with the guests. And the result of the challenge will be announced at the night's show so that people can participate more and have this interaction between guest and recreation. For us, recreation is very important and it was a point that really discouraged us. Even during the night show, we found it annoying that the bar only opens at 9:30 pm, people arrive and wait for the show to start but can't drink? We're at a resort, aren't we? The coco dendê restaurant is good, very good service from Guilherme and Lobão too, very friendly. The food is good and the drinks too. There is beach service, but it's a good idea to arrive early otherwise you'll be left without an umbrella. The pools are very cold, it takes a while to get in, they should have a heater. There is afternoon tea in the garden, with music, etc., very beautiful and good, but the songs should change. For example, on Monday they put a boy on the violin who is sensational but on Friday they put a more discouraged singer, I think they should be reversed, the calmer one on Monday and the violin on Friday. The resort is very beautiful, well maintained, large and at night there is light everywhere which makes the view incredible!! We recommend going there and intend to return, but it needs to improve to be a 4 or 5 star place.

Bad stay. Starting from the beach bar, poorly stored food, I did not have the courage to eat the snacks offered due to the amount of flies. Main restaurant without variation of meals, and when you arrive at the resort they deliver a card saying that each night is a different theme of meals(Nordestine, Italian...) lie, nothing of this happened. There is no natural coconut water, they put in a filter and you will be serving, the beverage machines are full of bees, a child danger to serve and be bitten. Drinking water only from the gallon filter, has no individual bottle. The coconut restaurant never in life offers a culinary experience, my entrance came with hair in the food and the main dish was extremely salty.
I also noticed a lot of kids going badly.
On the second night the shower room didn't heat up, and they just said we should wait for the bath demand to drop for the water to heat up, I needed to ask them to provide another room for us to shower...

Anyway, terrible experience...

Would like to leave my feedback on my recent stay at Cana Brava
all inclusive Resort. Overall, it was a very good experience. I really liked the lunch and dinner menu, it was varied and well prepared. The staff of employees also deserve a lot of praise, especially the children and adults recreation staff, who were always attentive and fun. The music in the different spaces was also a positive point, improved much compared to previous years, with a good variety and good taste.

Now, I would like to highlight some points that I believe can be improved for future visits. The cleaning time of the rooms could be more flexible, sometimes ended up interfering with the moments of rest. In addition, I felt that the hygiene products offered, such as shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap, do not have the quality that is expected from a Resort of this size.

Another important point is the beach bar, which urgently needs a renovation. The space looks old and does not look well sanitized. The beach restaurant snack menu could also be more varied, as it is quite repetitive throughout the week.

One issue that really bothered me was the excessive number of walking vendors on the beach, which ends up taking anyone’s rest. This really needs to be controlled somehow.

Finally, I felt that there was a lack of clarity on social networks about what is actually included in the Vacation Package all inclusive. I saw videos that made me realize that everything was included, but at the time I realized that some things, like energy in the bars, needed to be paid separately, which caused some frustration.

I hope this feedback will help to improve the services, as overall it was a good stay, but I believe that with these adjustments the experience would be even better.

The resort is beautiful, well maintained, with lots of options for children, the pools are a little cold, but nothing that gets in the way, the toys are great, the playground, kids area, the recreation staff are lively, but what could be better:
Politeness of staff, many don't look guests in the face, zero friendliness.
Food for children could be improved, very poor, with reduced opening hours and there is no puree which would be the basics in my opinion.
Adult food, normal, almost everything with the same taste, pasta sauce that tastes like flour, nothing extraordinary for being in Bahia, on the beach...
Horrible pizza, weak snacks.
Drinks have no sake, no sweet sparkling wine, no natural orange juice, most drinks are made with Orloff or Smirnoff.
Beer ok
If you know other resorts and have a comparison, you may be a little disappointed, otherwise lower your expectations and enjoy.
Finally, check-in and check-out times are strictly followed, if your flight leaves later and you need to stay a little longer, be prepared to pay, R$100/person, but you have to leave your room and you can continue consuming , otherwise they will take off the bracelet and you won't consume anything else. I found this petty, considering that the daily rate starts late.
I had a problem with the air conditioning in the room that dripped and wet some clothes and my suitcases, they quickly resolved it.

We were at Cana Brava in the middle of September, two adults and a 3 year old child. We stayed in Vila Premium, which, according to them, is the best area of the resort.
...
The accommodation is quite spacious and comfortable. It met our needs well, despite our room facing an expansion project. We would give it an 8.
...
We found most of the staff to be very polite, with a few exceptions, but we would give it a 9 overall.
...
The common areas are mostly well maintained. The lighting and landscaping are very beautiful, but more care could be taken in the children's areas. The playground, for example, has exposed wiring running through the sand, right where children play. Note 8.
...
We found the children's areas to be very poor. There is a closed club with toys and a cinema that urgently needs cleaning and organization. The children's pool meets the need, but the water is cold. We saw several children feeling cold and complaining about it, including our son. If you think about children's leisure, it's pretty weak. Note 5.
...
Swimming pools and gym for adults leave a little to be desired, but do not compromise the experience. Note 7.
...
Restaurants and snacks are probably the biggest expectation, since it is all inclusive. If you don't drink alcohol and want a "plus" on your food, this is definitely not the place. Unfortunately, most adults, with and without children, drink too much, always with their Stanley cup under their arm to enjoy a beer. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Poorly prepared, salty meat and "massified" food to serve hundreds (perhaps thousands) of people. Some typical dishes deserve to be highlighted (excellent shrimp bobó), but in general, everything with the same look and taste, so much so that one of the positive highlights was the rice and beans!! Note 5.
...
Considering the very high price, we don't intend to go back. There are cheaper places for the same range of options, and places of the same value, but much better.

Hotel structure, rooms, reception and easy movement within the hotel are the positive points!
Now restaurant, food, pool bars, replenishment is one of the worst resorts I have ever been to! I don't recommend it because some of the food and drinks will make you nervous! To eat Tapioca for breakfast, it takes 1:40, that's right, you arrive at 8:00 and you'll be able to get the tapioca at 9:40, that's when you don't lose your paper! I swear total disorganization! Calm pool has a wet bar someone shows up to serve and then disappears for 2 hours with no one else there! There is no food replacement
