It was a great experience. The hotel has a rustic touch that creates a wonderful atmosphere totally in tune with the energy of the city of Porto Seguro. All staff were extremely polite and friendly, breakfast was nice + great location... I will be back soon.
Old. Big quality problems. Good Location to the Airport. From the Pool and Terrace (Breakfast-Room) you have view over Porto Seguro to the Ocean. In case for a Stop-Over for one Night acceptable, for more days it is maybe dificult. Breakfast-Team very friendly and helpful.
The good: Friendly staff, a nice view from the hotel deck. Restaurant offers a decent hamburger. Cinnamon/sugar toast good at the buffet. The bad: Our room had a faint smell of urine which greeted us each time we entered. The bathroom frequently had dirty water bubbling up through the shower drain (see photo). A couple times it looked like it would flood the room but thankfully didn't. There was some leak in the bathroom so the floor was perpetually wet. When the toilet flushes it almost overflows, not sure why that is. The beds are very, very dirty underneath, see photos. The sheets are also not fitted so they easily come off in the night and your face ends up on that. My bed also leaned one way, so had to sleep facing one direction. We had a 'king' which was actually 2 beds join together, but they were slightly different heights. The light bulb near the door is conveniently located at eye level so I could hit my head on it as often as possible. The room comes with bug spray, I guess that's good? The lights are unshaded so they glare in your eyes. TV is tiny, about the size of a laptop screen. Pool is very dirty. We appeared to be the first ones in in the morning and there was a layer of bugs and hair on top of everything. It needs to be skimmed and filtered. Food... breakfast is cheap carbs, sweet breads. Eggs were a soupy mess, nothing really appetizing / healthy. The buffet dinner we saw did not look fresh or good at all and not cheap compared to places in town. You are a ways from anywhere else so have the option of eating there or taxiing to town, I would choose town. There is an excellent churrascuria about a 20 minute walk or short cab away. The rooms are extremely dated and don't look much like the photos on their site. There is no way in the world this is a 4 star hotel. I can't imagine what a 3 or less star is if this is 4. When I checked the rating was over 8, it boggles me how this is possible.…
Best value for money in Porto Seguro. You get what you pay for, well bit more. I stayed there - 3 adults and a 6 months 4-9 of December 2017. Bit of a rocky check in (my fault) booked wrong room. Staff was super helpful even it took a moment before I realized that error was mine not theirs - sorry once again guys! Good breakfast, ok pool, nice to be able to go for sauna. Great view of Porto Seguro as the hotel is on the hill. You can walk to old town and city centre or get taxi for 3 euro. We were out all day sightseeing so we really needed only decent place to sleep. Rooms are large. Maybe not superb - few marks on the wall and old furniture but nothing that would really affect your stay. Decent food - again value for money. for less than 10 euro you get a tasty dinner. Staff- fantastic, 5*. Really nice people. Word of advise - all hotels downtown that are by the beach - well there is a road between them and the beach. I wouldn't stay in any other hotel in Porto Seguro if ever back to town.…
I had the chance to briefly stay in this true jewel in Porto Seguro while travelling on business, but I definitely intend to come back with my family! Hidden in its own tropical gardens full of birds a few hundred meters from the airport, overlooking the town and the sea (a 10-minute walk down the hill, safe to do by daylight), the hotel is themed with the Brazilian Empire history, characters and events. It has good free wi-fi, a very mice pool and good breakfast. Staff is very nice and helpful. Aircraft noise is heard but not really disturbing. Prices are quite reasonable and better than many lower options around the area. The only reason I won´t give it a 5-star review is because the Brazilian music played by the pool is a bit too loud and absolutely crappy - but sure enough some foreign guests like it. If you come to this region, do not miss this place in any case!…
