We just needed a night before our flight, decided to splurge and go somewhere a bit more nicer than the surrounding hotels/pousadas. But.... the only good thing was the warm pool. For a hotel that is in the top 5 on tripadvisor and an average 30-40plus more than the other places. We should've just stayed at our previous hotel before...

I stayed here for 3 nights in November on business. We ate in the restaurant for lunch and also 2 evening meals. The food was wonderful with service to match. My room was on the first floor and was split over 2 levels. Downstairs toilet was in reasonable order. Air con was noisy. Upstairs toilet had an air on unit...

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in September 2016. I was delighted to see the size of the deluxe room! We felt very comfortable staying here with our 2 young children. The pool was very clean, the room was spacious, they even had a play area for young children! The staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was...

In here everything is wonderful! The staff, the room, the lounge, the pool, the restaurant. It's the place to be in Itapuã. The restaurante used to be Vinicius de Morais home, and turned into a small private museum. Great food. It's worth every penny. Awsome!

Stayed here for one night as my regular hotel was fully booked. Reception was slow and the hotel gangways are a bit of a maze. Room however pleasantly good. Sat at the pool when shooting started from the beach across and bullets buzzing like hornets went over our heads. Dinner at restaurant to be avoided. The pasta I had was...

Well with a visit, one of the best hotels in the area and less conventional Than others so enjoys charm in a great location some of the bet beaches nearby. The rooms are particularly well furnished and larger than the norm in SALVADOR. Great pool area and restaurant. Rooms with balcony and hammocks

We stayed in the hotel 6 nichts. The hotel is a little isolated and we did not felt safe to walk around when it was dark. However the hotel is really good and we found only very kind people trying to do their best. Fist we had a room near to the traffic and this wad really nosy. We complaint...

The hotel was ok. Breakfasts were good, but what we didn't realise when we booked it was how far it was from the centre of Salvador. On the flipside, it was close to some lovely beaches - just a short bus ride away.

We spent two enjoyable nights (Saturday and Sunday) at Mar Brasil at the end of a weeks trip which began in the old town of Salvador (including old quarters). I found the location across the road from the beach to be convenient. I thought I would have missed being directly on the beach but I was still able to enjoy...

This is a nice hotel. It's located on the beach in the Itapua neighborhood, not downtown in the historic district, but a lovely beach that's just 15 minutes from the airport. It's modern and updated, with nice rooms and a pleasant pool area. The restaurant is actually the former home of well-known Brazilian writer Vinicius de Moraes, so it's got...
