The hotel was clean, modern, peaceful, and exquisite. Staff was kind, helpful, and considerate. It had postcard views of the ocean and the plaza down below. The views were breathtaking. Food was nourishing, appealing and well-presented. Really delicious! Would recommend to anyone for short or long stay.

I stayed at Village Novo for 3 weeks. The service there was incredible. Breakfast was served every single morning, the ladies at the hotel assist your every need, and overall it is a family-friendly place to have the family. The owners Bryan and Cris are wonderful people who will assist and answer and questions you may have about the place...

Traveling through Brazil for the World Cup, my friend and I encountered a lot of different hotels, hostels, and Airbnb accommodations... and Village Novo was hands down the best! Each room is different so you never know what you are going to get, the breakfast is a perfect way to start your day, and Brian (American) and his staff do...

Stayed here in late November 2011. Location was okay, with Porto da Barra right at the doorstep. We were given the beach/street-facing double room on the top floor. Room and ensuite bathroom were really nice, and came with a spacious balcony. There were art pieces throughout the building, including a pretty neat one in our room. The place was chic...

Living in and traveling Brasil fairly extensively, I have experienced the gamut of hotels, pousadas and apartments. I was very pleased with Village Novo. Village Novo Beach Suites is well organized and managed. The rooms are clean, tasteful, with all the desired amenities. It is within easy walking and transit distance to the Pelourinho, Lower City, Campo Grande, Ondina, Graca,...

If you come to Salvador, you won't go wrong if you stay at the Village Novo Beach Suites. I was lucky to find the Village Novo as I left a dull and boring hotel located on the same street. When I looked into the main area used for breakfast and a lounge during the day , I initially thought it...

The location is prefect if you plan on spending most of your time on the beach or around the beach area. The staff is very nice and helpful. The inclusive breakfast is better than many other B&B's. Restaurants are right outside. We recommend the top level room, which is a one bedroom with living space and full kitchen. It had...

First off they speak english in a place where not many people do not. It is right on the beach. I do agree with the other reviews that say the front rooms are loud but with the windows and doors closed it wasn't so bad. The owner and his wife took good care of my wife and I. I was...
