Its a very peculiar place, full of details and cosy. They have a nice breakfast, with fruits, local dishes and natural juice. We found the bedroom clean and great to have a shower and rest. One of the attendant speaks english, what isn't very common at the city.

Got here for just one night sleep with intention to get to know Salvador's historical center. It was my best decision. The hotel is very well located and allows anyone to get to know touristic attraction on foot. The hotel is very simple, beautiful and well maintained. A simple but very good breakfast. The room I took had no window....

Lovely interior, helpful staff and good ish locale but severely let down by ability to control noise . Building has practically no windows (shutters primarily which do not in all cases cover window gaps) so any noise from street is audible throughout entire hotel at any time ie bar across street which plays live music in til 2300 then carries...

The room was dirty and in a very bad condition. Is not a safe place to stay. Bad neighborhood. Is not safe to walk .. Is far from peluriño and places of interest. Stayed here during the carnival. It's on the parade street, so if during carnival be prepared that it will be close to action, and loud - but I considered it as a plus. Hotel offers some great views on the back, rooms are decent, not too clean, but on a plus. Staff is very helpfull, english speaking, can give advice...

Fantastic place. Really good location close to the historic centre but far enough away to make it feel very Salvador. Great little bars and eating places all along the main street it is on. Would defiantly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Salvador.

I look for three things in a place to stay -- location, cleanliness and value. This is located just up the road from the historical center -- which for me is great because it ensures quiet. It was clean. There was a terrace you could sit in if you liked. And for what I paid it was well worth it....

We stayed here at the beginning of our trip. They offer airport transfer for 100 reais. It was conveniently located near the pelourinho. Great wifi. The rooms were nice. AC was dicey at times but overall excellent stay. Breakfast was basic. The staff was very nice.

Beautiful old colonial building, in a great location in fantastic Salvador. 5 - 10 minutes to Pelourinho area (which is amazing!), with a couple if nice bars in between. We didn't feel any sense of threat even when walking back late - it's generally a fairly busy street even at night, and there's a very cool bar opposite. We had...

Gorgeous 17th-century colonial building in the heart of the Old Town. Loved the character and charm of the place- even the room keys are vintage. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and definitely sufficient. Friendly staff and clean accommodations. We loved walking the old cobblestone streets at night and stopping in restaurants and bars to sample the...

“The cost of the rooms are so great and economical it gives you the ability to stay in the highest price room. The master room on the top floor is a split level that is great for a family or two people who want their own room and own bed. All rooms are done up very tastefully in an old colonial style.”
