So getting here was not so good because my uber could not come down the street where the hotel is located and you have to cross the square in order to get there. Once you arrive its absolutely beautiful. I loves everything about the location and the decor and the vibe of the hotel. You really get the feel of...

This hotel is perfectly situated in the Pelourinho district of Salvador. It is near all the shops, music, bars and restaurants and is within walking distance of all the major sights, museums and churches, but our room was still amazingly quiet. I would recommend the rooms on the first and second floors as they have large balconies, so you can...

Great location in the heart of the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely fantastic restaurant for the delicious three course breakfasts and French-influenced evening meals. Recommend rooms with a view of the bay as they are quiet. The street outside the entrance to the hotel periodically throbs with drums and music. We would stay here again gladly.

If I could live here I would... well I'm working on it! So glad to be back and be able to stay here again even if it was just for one night. I should of made it longer as one night is just not enough time to enjoy everything fully, be it enjoying the pool, the restaurant tapas menu during...

Really enjoyed our stay here just before the start of carnival. Great location in the centre of old Salvador. Lots of English spoken. The owners can't do enough to help. Very classy refurbishment of a traditional building. You can look at the before and after in a book on the coffee table. We had a light lunch here which was...

I had a wonderful experience at Casa do Amarelindo. The accommodations exceeded my expectations, the beautiful artistry blew my mind. I felt as if I was in a sacred space. The breakfast was exquisite. The best experience over everything, was the staff. They were attentive, helpful, kind, and always welcoming with a smile. Thank you for a great stay.

Really good hotel located right in the heart of the old town. The streets are full of drummers, music, people singing and dancing all day and all night long. The hotel provides quiet respite from all the chaos. Rooms have two sets of windows, with the windows closed and the blackout curtains drawn it is very quiet so you can...
