This is a good option if you are looking for a short business stay in the city, price is good compared to other options in the neighborhood but the location is not great. Is wheelchair assessable. Rooms are filled with beds so if you’re staying in a larger party it won’t be a problem. The restaurant in the hotel is quite good especially for lunch and dinner, breakfast has all the basics and is also good. The staff certainly a high point for the hotel, always very friendly, helpful and reliable. Anywhere you want to go from here you will need a cab to get there.
The hotel is centrally located in Downtown Fortaleza. Easy to reach and to walk. The hotel offers breakfast buffet. Breakfast items were limited but ok. The restaurant also offers lunch and dinner. The service at the restaurant is great. The room and hotel were clean. There was a mini bar in the room that allowed us to bring our own water and keep it cold. We were in room 110 which it was a triple room unfortunately at times the room was a bit noisy. There was some kind of equipment turned on at certain times of the day and night that was a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom has a block window with holes in it and there was no way to seal it or close it. There are not many restaurants in the area. There is a local pizza place around the corner which is a good place to go for a quick bite. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We used a lot of Uber to go places which was a great transportation to move around as it was inexpensive and drivers were nice.…
Stayed for 2 nights for my husbands birthday cannot express our thanks to all the wonderful friendly helpful staff at this hotel for making our stay memorable. Our room was beautiful. The dinner in there restaurant is amazing. Breakfast very good. Location excellent. Thank you looking forward to staying again. Highly recommend
We spent one of the worst nights of our lives in this hotel. We were assigned this hotel through an American hotel website and ended up at the Meridional. We had reserved a twin and when we arrived late, all rooms were taken. We were shown to a room with a double bed and we had to take it. Once settled in, we try to leave the hotel. The neighborhood is ugly, unwelcoming and unsafe. So we were stuck in the room. At midnight a block party started with loud music till 4am. No sleep here. At 8 went down to breakfast when a horde of bus tourists, who had stayed in this hotel, were entertained by a singer with yet another amplifier. What a nightmare. Although the room is prepaid and non refundable for another 2 nights, we are feeling this hell hole for some stars at the beach
I booked this hotel for my boyfriends and I to have our first holiday together. We did ask for a double room but we got a triple instead, it didn't really bother us since we just pushed the bed together. The hotel staff were so lovely and welcoming! They were always trying to speak English, it was really sweet. The food was amazing! I wasn't expect it to be as good as it was but it was truly fantastic. It was in the perfect location, close enough to work to our friends apartment, the bus stop and Centro. When we got into our room we were expecting the mini fridge to be as expensive as a London one however it was about the same price that you buy in a supermarket. And the selection of sweets and chocolate was delicious. Both my boyfriends and I were very happy with our stay and we will definitely book again when we go back.…
