The premises are under extensive retrofit and the noise is very disturbing. I consider this a total disrespect to guests. There’s no way to relax or engage in a phone call with the annoying sound of a hammer drill trembling the walls. I consider this a scam. Rates are full price but you get a real bad experience if you need to relax.
Great hotel with delicious breakfast in a central location. Easy access to beaches, restaurants, bars, and the local market. The view is exceptional and we can see the Beira Mar avenue and also the sea.
Such a great experience. Staff is super friendly. The breakfast was delicious and free. Our room was comfortable and the bathrooms modern. Pool was kept at a cool temperature, which felt great after a hot day on the beaches. Felt very safe. Doormen were 24 hrs and very friendly. We went on so many excursions from this central location. The pizza at the restaurant was the best. Beers were the coldest I ever had. We were with about 15 other family members. We all loved it here!
The hotel has a nice location to the beach, however, a bit old fashioned and there is a long lasting construction work in front of it (some kind of beach promenade). This is very noisy on working days and the view to the beach is partially “disturbing” as well as the metal fence protection around the hotel front during New Year’s eve. Reception and staff were quite friendly. The breakfast is abundant.
Outdated hotel and rooms. Did not have any shower Gel during whole stay. Rooms need renovation, very bad Wif in room. Hotel is extremly noisy, balcony doors were broken and was not possible to close. Construction works are going on in front of hotel.
Learnt from a friend about this hotel and made a booking for 1 week. Hotel is well situated along the beach, be it that the beach is currently being renovated/extended and cannot be used till mid 2020. But staff friendly and excellent buffet breakfast. Language might be a problem for those not speaking Portuguese as English not by all staff spoken. Hotel at walking distance of Feirinha market (evening after 1700 hrs) and Fish Market (lunch and dinner). also excellent steakhouse near by.
Great location at the Beira Mar. Fantastic breakfast, try the various tapioca's! Rooms are ready for renovation though, we had the suite. There are two elevators of which one was out of order during our stay. Not ideal in this buzzy hotel when you stay at a high floor as we did. Also the pool was a disappointment for the kids. Small, old and in the shade all day. All in all an okay-ish place to stay.
We had a great experience at Hotel Praiano. We spent one night here on our way to Teresina and also on the way back from Teresina to Belgium (stop-over to get some rest before the long flight between Fortaleza & Brussels). Nicely kept rooms, friendly staff and great accomodation. We were travelling with a young infant and there was a special kitchen for meal preparation and a nice little playset next to the swimming pool. Tasty breakfast and clean rooms... and a great view from the 10th & 11th floor. Great value for money.
We stayed here one night and it was perfect for what we wanted. The staff were extremely helpful as we needed to arrange a late checkout. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities that you would expect in a good hotel. The location of the hotel is great! Right across the road from the beach, and close to so many restaurants and bars. There is also a huge market across the road from the hotel which you can go do some shopping at...not sure if its just on the weekend or every night. This may get a bit noisy for some people, but it stops around 10pm...I think. I would recommend this hotel.
Great place and perfect location just in front of the Market by the beach. The breakfast are delicious, the staff is always try to help and the small ''park'' for the kids is just perfect. Always my first choice when I am going in Fortaleza. Give it a try!
