The Praia Centro is very near to Meireles and Iracema beachs, have a good staff, clean and confortable rooms, and a decent restaurant (with a beautiful view) & breakfast. I recomend for both vacations or business trips in Fortaleza.
I stayed here during a research symposium and everything was exactly what I needed. There's a gym on the top floor overlooking the city and a rooftop bar/pool area. Service is excellent and the people are really friendly.
I could not make it through the whole dinner. The crab appetizer was all cream, no crabmeat. The soup was so overboiled that it had no flavor. The prices were too high for such bland food. I continued my meal down the street.
We spent fiveatt night in the hotel. Rooms are not very comfortable like in a four star hotel.Breakfast is excellent - many king of fruits and cakes and an employee at our disposition to make the traditional "tapioca". Hotel is cloto to a very commercial street called Rua Mons.Tabosa (sorry many shops were closed because the actual economical crisis). To reach a beach we have to take a taxi.Emploees are very polite and pay attention to the guests asks.
It's not the best hotel breakfast you've ever had but the dining room is on the roof of the hotel with great views over the city and sea. The roof terrace is a good place to relax during your stay. As for the rest of the hotel, it's quite basic but fine if you don't intend to spend much time inside the hotel. It's a short walk from the seafront and the staff are friendly and efficient. The room I had was spacious but (here comes that word again) basic.
+ strong wi-fi + good breakfast + power socket next to the bed + good location, close to the ocean, shops, restaurants, city center etc - Other guests like to make parties with opened room doors. Until deep in the night. The hotel team welcomes this tradition. You have no chances to sleep. - Insects in room - maids leave hairs in the room - fridge is full with useless things
Lovely place, breafast is perfect. I like the fact that it is close to the Iracema beach and you acn even walk to get there. There a great swimming pool with a lively view, but why doesn't the tv have audio in English? Really? Where can a foreign watch things properly? Anyway, for me it matters.don't you think?
This is primarily a businessman's hotel ,so nothing out of the ordinary or extra charming. That said, it was very well located, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful, with some English-speaking. Would recommend!
This is a good hotel at a reasonable rate, near downtown beach of Fortaleza - it is a nice beach to walk, I'm not sure about bath, you hear different comments from locals about how clean or polluted the water is. The lobby is large and fresh, friendly people. Room is acceptable, although a little outdated, same with the bathroom. I liked the swimming pool on the roof and also the restaurant and breakfast.
I booked on booking.com for a double room from the pictures and description it all appeared to be very good and what I would expect from a simple Brazilian four star hotel. Well i'm sorry for £207 British pounds of 850RS I was expecting a room with at least tea and coffee making options, a TV with European channels (Not just CNN) the room was very basic. Breakfast was ok thou nothing special compared to the wonderful Brazilian Breakfasts I have experienced. I'm sorry I felt ripped off and I will not be back and nor will i recommend it to anyone in the UK.
