Do not go to this hotel as the manager is the worst manager ever only tries to call problems for foreigners tried to get us in trouble and is not trustworthy l, the staff are ok but do not trust anyone as they all report to the manager
If you have a boat, it would serve you well, but, it became old and need a revision on all the complex. It was a very luxurious place, but now there might some better options unfortunatelly. Team and attention very nice.
Just if you're on business for a few nights. I stay with my family on our way to Jericoacoara and this was the worst option. Thanks to the travel agency(!!) You may not walk on the neighbourhood, it's really dangerous!! You may take a taxi and went to other beaches. No restaurants near, just their own. Rooms with "garden" view acctually are road view! Too much noise till midnight and start again at 6a.m!! As I said: stay away!
The hotel has nice pictures that don't reflect the reality. It's tremendous outdated and in a desperate need to be reformed and updated. The beds are ok but the rooms are old. The restaurant / breakfast area looks very odd and old with dirty spots on all skirtings, broken tiles and old tables. The pool area is ok but the plastic tables there are always dirty as looks like no one from the hotel crew cleans then ever. This is an OK hotel if you are going on a business trip, but if you are going on vacation there's way better options in the city, specially because the location is not safe at all and not exactly on the touristic region of Fortaleza.
The hotel is decadent, rooms are not clean. The surrounding area is extremely dangerous and there is no safe public transportation. Towels and other bed materials were looking old. The beach by the hotel is not adequate for swimming. I will never return to this hotel.
Honestly, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. No way this is a “5-star resort”. This is a 2 star old and not taken care hotel. The rooms are from the 80s. Bathroom does not look clean at all! Air conditioner is a huge peace to equipment in the middle of the room with no temperature control whatsoever. It is just old and not comfortable at all. TV has maybe 5 channels working and food is way too expensive. If you are thinking about staying at this hotel, just don’t. It amazes me that people still go to hotels like this. That is the reason for them not refurbishing it for the past 30 years or so! On the good side, staff is friendly. But, not worth it. Avoid.
The hotel was renewed a couple of years ago and it is only good. The room is spacious and comfortable. The beds could be better. The breakfast was also something that didn't please everyone. Considering that it is one of the most traditional hotels in the city, we were expecting more.
We stayed at this hotel for two separate nights before and after our trip to Jericoacoara. The hotel and staff were excellent. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, good food and nice pool area. BUT I do not recommend that you walk outside beyond the hotel security at the entrance gates. We took a taxi to the shops and walked back to the hotel, but we felt very uncomfortable with the local people on the streets, the immense amount of street rubbish, and general uncleanliness. I would recommend staying at this hotel, but be aware that it is not near enough to be able to walk to the main beaches, you will need a taxi. I suggest you stay within the boundary of the hotel!
Very good hotel with great service, free parking, excellent free bus service to beaches, town center and shopping centers. Good restaurant and room service. Baby sitter very friendly and nice full of toys. So satisfied that I can only recommend it.
I stayed in this hotel because I had a conference there. There were no tissues or a clock in the room, which I found odd. Also, they only provided sheets and no blanket, and the mattress wasn't great. Only a few employees in the whole hotel spoke English, and with an English-speaking conference happening, I thought they would have at least done a little course on some key phrases. Luckily, I could get by with my broken Spanish. There were a lot of little things that were annoying, including my key not working the last 2 days so I was required to have security let me in my room, but overall it was a decent stay.
