We stayed here 13 nights. The room was drab. The "door" was a visual barrier but had gaps all around. The AC is only on when your card key is inserted by the door. Furniture is tired looking. The lobby is well airconditioned. Internet was out one morning. People like to slam their doors. The atrium is open so thats annoying at 6:30 am. The "bell-hops" will fight you to carry your bag for a tip. According to my Brazilian wife who owned some flats in Fortaleza 15 years ago this hotel has changed locations. It may be bigger but it hasn't improved.

Hotels in tourist destination always suffer from lack of service and personality. But still, you want the quality you pay for. Othon Palace doesn’t provide this. It is a bit boring old fashioned place. Not one employee smiles. Room is quite large, but no charm at all, with lack of power plugs near the bed. The swimming pool is a shame and the promo fotos are unacceptably misleading. Same for the gym. The free to use piano in the (too small a) lounge is a nice idea. But the pedals don’t work, and that makes the play by (elder) guests a awkward hearing experience.

We stayed three and then two days at this convenient hotel and twice got what we wanted for a reasonable price: quiet rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast, free parking and especially, location, within walking distance from several places we wanted to visit, especially restaurants and the "feirinha". The hotel might be getting a little old, but beds and shower are still above average. Our rooms had partial ocean view, which was enough for us.

A good option for those staying in Fortaleza. It's located at Meireles beach - a short walk from Iracema beach and is right in the sea front. There are lots of good restaurants close by and also a supermarket within walking distance, useful as there are cooking facilities - should you want to make your own food. The front desk can help organise trips to various beaches. The hotel has a pool which gets lots of sun, along with a gym and sauna. Recommended.

Stunning view towards coastline the hotel situated near onshore promenade with a variety of bars and restaurants. Climat hot but dry. The first and foremost advantage of the Orthon Palace Fortaleza is its room size and shape very spacious in all aspects well groomed and tidy. Even the bathroom's roomy which was a surprise. The hotel might be a little bit old fashioned but the advantages are predominant. Good value for money. Pictures show view from Orthon Palace Fortaleza 13th floor.

Feels run down, but all right value for money considering the high prices in Fortaleza. Rooms are well sized and equipped, cleaning is OK. Breakfast in incredible small room, food was fine and authentic but lacks selection. Hotel appears to be more than it is.

I was expecting more from the Othon Palace brand. Great location, clean, and very basic. Good breakfast give you a compensation. The rate doesn't justify the product. Needs a good renovation and offer more option for the guest to justify the price charged. At this moment the offer is only B&B, must to say a clean B&B with a good breakfast and clean room.

Location Beira mar with nice quiet terrace area. Room size good, standard average. In Brazil four stars, three stars everywhere else. Partly sea view promised but not really as expected. Still nice hotel and good choice to stay over one night or two.

The hotel is well situated on the beach front with some great views, the service has been superb (we arrived after a long drive and the staff were on hand to park the car and provide our room with great awareness and speed). The pool area is small but with the beach and sea so close it is a small complaint. The breakfast is ok but has limited choice compared with other hotels that we have stayed in during our tour of Brazil.
