It is almost an hour walk to downtown and the path to get there is not advised. It involves crossing under the overpass. You will need to cross a washed out railroad ravine. I ruined my shoes and pants crossing it.
I’m not sure if I would make it featured stop for family vacation, but definitely adequate for business, personal quick stops if you don’t want to drive at night. Good restaurants nearby. Not near any major attractions so not a vacation stop per sé.
Stopped here on the way to Door County for a night. It was during COVID so there was no continental breakfast and they gave no discounts for that which was fine. Staff was friendly, the bed was comfy and the place was clean. All made for a great nights stay.
Very convenient location close to downtown, the mall &;major Interstate. The place is very clean, hotel rooms very nice & front desk staff amazing attending to your needs to make your stay comfortable. This is a great place to stay for the price especially!
The outside of the building leaves something to be desired. The room itself was fine, though there were some stains on our shower curtain. The beds were weirdly short (my friend and I are both 5’10 and our feet were sticking out when we were reclined). The staff was not particularly helpful or friendly. We had to call them to the front desk to check in and out. They also accused us of smuggling a pet inside a picnic basket that only contained snacks which was weird. Overall, a weird experience and wouldn’t go back but a decent value for the night.
