The Inn was lovely. The rooms with front windows didn't have room darkening shade, & the street was bright & busy, BUT the bed was extremely comfortable & we slept well once we fell asleep. The bathroom was fabulous. It was evident that great care goes into keeping the house, rooms, & baths clean & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and... More

One of our daughters attended Lawrence University a few years back. For our 50th Wedding Anniversary Our Children arranged a trip which included a Brewer's game, Packer game, and a couple days relaxation in WI. The Inn was a pleasant surprise for us. Our Hostess was awesome, it was quiet with an exceptional bath. It's location was convenient and easy... More

I was in Appleton for three weeks. I was there to settle my son in at the university that is within walking distance of the inn. Judy cared for me, making sure every little detail was taken care of, throughout the three weeks stay. She asked which of the various options of breakfast dishes I would like to have again,... More

My daughter and I shared the Shangri-La room in the Inn on Durkee for a quick one night stay, while taking my granddaughter to nearby Lawrence University. I can't imagine a more convenient place for students' families to stay. The room was lovely, with many unique Asian touches, and Judy, the innkeeper, was most gracious. Sadly, we did not get... My wife and I decided to take a relatively short overnight trip from our U.P. home and do a little sightseeing to the Green Bay/Appleton area. Glad we did, and that it included a wonderful overnight stay at the Franklin Street Inn. I am a stickler for detail so let me throw in this note that I am familiar with... More

It was our first stay, and Judy made us down-home welcome in this fantasy land of a BnB she and Ron have created. From the wonderful breakfasts to the uncountable touches of elegance, it was a lovely experience!

My daughter and I stayed over night at the Inn in the Lawrence Room. We were in Appleton to visit Lawrence University and wanted something unique and close to campus. The Inn and the room were beautiful... Very cosy and quaint. They had everything you could want. The Innkeepers were very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. We will... More

It was my first time to stay here, and I was amazed. The attention to detail was noted at every turn. The breakfast was a delight with the right amount served. The inn keepers were friendly and competent to a fault!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Franklin Street B&B. We stayed in the Turret Royale Suite and the owner Judy (who is delightful) promptly served our hot breakfast at the specified time in our suite, which was an option to us instead of eating in the dining room. The breakfast was hot and delicious and not your typical easy breakfast recipes. Judy... More
