Too high priced. Bed uncomfortable and AC did not cool the room enough. If you are ok w a 2 Star hotel this will work but for a comparable price u can stay more comfortable at a 4-5 star hotel nearby. One look at room and I turned around and told them it would not work for me, they still wanted me to pay! Sorry.
Nice location at Camburi Beach, not far for the Praia do Canto which has lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel has a very nice restaurant next door and a few others nearby. Both Cambury and Canto beaches are very nice. The lobby is very small with only one person on duty.Breakfast area needs some repairs as it has broken floor tiles, etc. Breakfast very nice. The staff were helpfull. We had problems with a noisy AC and it was seen to. We also asked for help as all the films on Tv were dubbed into Portuguese. Two members of staff came but were unable to help.
Stayed for a few nights during the world cup found rooms to be clean a bit dated but comfy nice shower room loads of hot water breakfast on 4th floor overlooking beach plenty of buses if you want to visit the old part of town the hotel has a restaurant next door bit pricy but ok quite close to the airport for short taxi or bus ride nice beach bar across from the hotel
The hotel is located on the south east corner of 'Praia Camburi'. Just the main drag separates you from the beach. I walked at night to the 'Praia do Canto' district just south of a small bridge, a hundred yards from of the hotel. This is a nice area to go out and have dinner or a few drinks. My standard double room was relatively small, probably 70's style, old style CRT TV and a AC. The AC was needed to burr out the early rush hour traffic noise in the morning. The 'Cafe da manha', Brazilian Breakfast, is a nice buffet on the 4th floor overlooking the beach and the high-rises along the strip of Camburi Beach.
Poor rooms. If not beach view, you get a horrible building view very close. You can see inside the apartments beside. Lobby is ridiculously small. Only one small elevator. Cheap rates. Excellent free internet with very good download speed. Really outstanding. Breakfast is ok. Nothing more.
