Nice place to stay! Good location near by the centre of Belem. The rooms were cleaned. Not so big but ok and a compared bathroom at the room. You have to pay for the lockers when you are already check out. No breakfast but you have nice places in the neighbourhood to get a breakfast!

We stayed on the first floor and our ceiling leaked when it rained. The walls had mold on them. The A/C worked, but we were not provided sheets for our beds. When the staff thought we had already checked out, they left brand new sheets and pillow cases for the new guests (which we were not provided). The location was...

Good location, hot shower, cheap dormitories, and staff really interesting and kind with them. They bring us a lot of advice to visit the city, the transport etc. They don't offer breakfast but there is a lot of supermarket all around

Yes this hostel is cheap, the rooms are fine for what you pay for. Small but you can't expect much for the price. Just be very careful for the extra costs, if you only leave in the evening they charge you to stay and use the internet and kitchen and also to store your bag. Don't do washing there as...

The structure is constrained and adapted for use as a hostel, with small rooms cramped and dark. The price is low but watch out for extra loads, such as 5 reais for storing luggage tags or 6 reais per sheet for each printing from a computer, to the strong mark on the washing of clothes. If you need to buy...

Bad location in the middle of a small quiet dirty street that's dangerous to walk at night. The owner was very rude, not respectful and not helpful at all. I had a private room which had no window, and thin walls. You could hear everything outside. apparently all rooms have no windows. Kitchen was very dirty and badly equipped. hence,...

What make Amazonia was the Owner and his staff. Always caring for our comfort going further than our need. On arrival, Renata choose another room for us for a better comfort and all the time we were there they try to make our stay the best. You always had filter water in the fridg. And a place to cook. The...

Very nice staff. Speaking more English than most others in Belem, they are cheerful and accommodating. They showed us the city and told us stories about it. They also gave us good information and tips on excursions and places that are worth a visit. Quiet and centrally located. Recommended!

It's not the ritz, but it was a pleasant stay and they actually had a room during the famous "Cirio de Nazare" last weekend. I liked the stay. It was cheap, and the staff was friendly. I found my room to be clean.

This place is extremely simple. I wasn't that happy with my room, but the staff is super nice, well located, it is very clean and cheap... And they offer good coffee all day long. If you are in a tight budget it's a good option.

“If you take the dormitories, don't take the cheapest one because his just near the reception so you hear everything. There is one with 4 bed on the inferior floor, nicer than the other.”

“DO NOT CONFUSE WITH HOSTEL AMAZONIA or other with same name *To get from the airport take the green and white bus written center, and ask the driver to get off by the park (Praça da República), walk straight one block and a half to the hostel street, O Almaida, turn left and walk to the 2nd block. The hotel is on your left hand.”
