The hallways and doors outside your room may appear to be in need of updating at first glance, but don’t be alarmed: The insides of the rooms are in much better shape. Driving across the country on a long road trip, we stayed in a variety of hotels. Some great, some terrible, some in between. When we saw the hallways here, we got a little worried that we were in for another terrible experience. However, the inside of our room was actually quite nice. It was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. With all that being the case, I don’t really care what the hallways look like. Their complimentary breakfast was a little scant. I don’t know if that’s how it usually is or if it was reduced due to Covid, but it was basically a snack with coffee. Overall, I’d say this Super 8 is decent enough to get you through a night or a few. It won’t blow you away or be the nicest place you’ve ever stayed, but you won’t be severely disappointed either.

Checked into this dump, should have known by the 2 cars in the parking lot it was a bad idea!! Walked into the room, smelled terrible!! Found old moldy food in the refrigerator, smoke detector missing, shampoo, conditioner and lotion all previously used and put back for the next guest to use. Immediately packed back up and went to the front desk to check out and get a refund. Waited for the female front desk employee to finishing smoking her pot and got our refund and continued on. What an absolute dump!!!

I called ahead to make sure that they had appropriate cleaning conditions under Covid before we traveled. When I got there there was dust over everything so I know they didn’t even clean areas that your hands touch i.e. light switches etc. Immediately my son uses the bathroom and finds poop on the floor. Let’s hope we survive this visit. Staff was very insensitive about the whole matter.

This super 8 is one of the old ones. It is severely dated. I would have expected some type of update with Wyndham taking over. The tissue box was rusted, the linens and towels were worn. The cooling system was either full blown ice or nothing at all.

Our big complaint was that the room smelled. You were hit with a wave of musty odor each time you opened the door. This problem was more than made up for by the front desk lady, Tiffany. She was upbeat and positive each time I spoke with her. She told me how to work the window when we had trouble with it and offered to come to the room and examine it (not required, her explanation was enough). All of my questions were answered quickly and intelligently. When we had an embarrassing spill at breakfast, Tiffany was there quicker than I could react and had it taken care of. I did not report that room smell because capacity was at maximum, but I am sure Tiffany would have been able to resolve this for us as well if we had. Tiffany helped make this stay an enjoyable one for my family and I.
