The Artinga is a great choice to stay in Ilha Grande. The rooms are good size. Very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the shower great, with plenty of hot water and good pressure (especially in the chalets). The breakfast was very good with plenty of options, and the afternoon tea is great when coming back from a hike or...

Our experience at Aratinga Inn was amazing! The pousada itself makes you feel like you're in a jungle paradise with flowers and lush vegetation growing every where. The island of Ilha Grande has a lot to do between hiking, snorkeling, soaking up the sun on the beach. The pousada is pretty centrally located with only a few minutes walk to...

We had one of the new chalets which we thought was very good, because everythigng was kept in real good shape for Brazil and maybe its not so dense and calmer down there then at the old chalets. But that is of course just our opinion. Rennie is keeping an eye on everything and has a good feeling for oragnization...

Rennie welcomed us in the best way possible and gave us all the information we could possibly need for our stay. The pousada offers a great breakfast (when we asked for naturelle yoghurt they provided us with that the very next day) and a very delightful afternoon tea with brazilian pastries where we got to know many of the other...

The hostel is clean, spacious, and while the rooms are small they are kept well furnished and in perfect order, cleaned and straightened each day, the linen changed every two. Breakfast is a fantastic spread of fruits, cold meat and cheese, scrambled eggs and cooked chorizo. Great coffee too, and bola cake. There is afternoon tea and cake also which...

The host Rennie was amazing, helping us with suggestions of where to go and what to see and helped us with everything we needed during our stay. The place itself is also very nice and the rooms are large and fun with a hammock in the porch. Overall highly recommend!

We honeymooned at the Aratinga Inn in April after a few days in Rio. Next time we come to Brazil, we will go directly to Ilha Grande and the Aratinga Inn. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Rennie was hospitable in every sense of the word! The binder of activities she provided helped us fill our days with no problem....
