They did everything what they could for us, even the weather was bad unfortunately. Such a lovely Couple :) So we had a lot of fun and a very good time! If you go to Ilha Grande, you should go there!

Pousada Cruzoe on Ilha Grande is a fantastic place for those who seek peace and quite time, away from the busy and chaotic cities of Brazil. The owners - Laura and Eduardo and their staff are one of the nicest people ever! They work really hard to make your time as pleasant as possible and always welcome you with a big smile. Surrounded by nothing more than a pure nature, you can enjoy beautiful beaches, clean water and if you are seek for a small adventure, you can do small hiking between villages. Highly recommended!

Excellent location in the quiet and pleasant Araçatiba beach. Great place for dives. It is possible to see turtles swimming by your side. The vegan cuisine is very good, especially the breakfast. The owners are friendly and helpful. They can help with sightseeing tips around the area. It is worth to know by boat other beaches in the region. Just be aware of the hours at the hostel. They are strict for meals and strangely for the use of WI-FI, only a few hours during the day

A lovely pousada between two beaches (Aracatiba and Aracatibinha) on a bit more quiet side of Ilha Grande. If you want to relax, this is the place. They have great vegan breakfast and a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner (vegetarian and vegan options). It is a walking distance from two nice beaches, and there is also a terrace over the ocean where you can chill in the sun and swim.

We stayed here only for one night but were really impressed! The Pousada itself is basic but clean and the view is spectacular. We have given the 5 stars for the staff. They went above and beyond to help us not only when we were staying with them but with our trip to the island. We recommend!

We stayed here during October, and this is a great hotel.
The rooms are basic – as you would expect from such a location – but perfectly comfortable.
The food here is simply fantastic. Everything is vegan or vegetarian – but wow, does it taste good (and I am not vegetarian!). Everything is home made and it shows.
The wonderful views over the bay are also something unique.
You can snorkel just off the jetty, and see many many fish. It is great!
The hosts are very friendly and attentive – I cannot fault them.
All in all, really not a bad choice of hotel. If you stay in Aracatiba, but not at this hotel: you really should make a point of trying the food here. You will not be disappointed.

By far one of the most gorgeous locations I have stayed in. The private jetty is located above a coral reef with excellent visibility. The food is beautiful and healthy and the hospitality warm and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Nearby sights include jungle walks to secluded beaches, lagoons for free swimming and pristine beaches, highly recommend.

What a lovely place to stay. The location (arriving by boat) is unique. As if there's nothing else. The deck with the chairs is ideal to relax and have your caipirinha, dinner later and you should try the pizza place at the camping site at the back of the hotel (5 minutes walk) - excellent pizza's for a change! The rooms are not that special, but you just need to sleep there, so not really an issue. Ir would have been nice to have a good view, but the larger rooms (more beds) are facing the sea. Apart from the fact that the owners only speak Spanish (difficult with the communication) the stay at Pousada Cruzoe was unforgettable. The owners really want to make it an excellent stay and they are very sweet!

The Pousada Cruzoe is perfect for people who want to fully experience the peace and serenity of the Brazilians. The hostess Sonja makes so much effort to accommodate all of her guests' wishes and does this fabulously. On the second day, without us asking, we were upgraded to a room with a sea view and AC 🙂
The food is the best on the beach! The Frutti de Mare pasta is excellent. The other dishes are also delicious (Acai bowl refreshingly good!).
Sonja also took over the management of our day trips free of charge and gave us a great insight into Ilha Grande and its various beaches.
