Simple but wonderful place! The owners are really friendly and helpfull... i arrived at 6 am and they keep my bags and I could change clothes and go to the beach until the check in time. The front door is locked all the time and you receive a key, so it's a secure place. They have lockers inside the bedroom.... More

A nice family run 'hostel', more like a guest house. We stayed for only two nights, were the only people there so can't really comment on the atmosphere. The place could be great, if it were cleaned regularly. To say we were the only ones there and the kitchen and bathrooms were not clean when we arrived or when we... More

We stayed for 3 nights and were lucky to get the ensuite room and had no problems with the air con, in fact i thought it looked new and at least you had control of the remote unlike some hostels. Everything was always clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and the breakfast was fairly simple but fresh (only bread,... More

i want to like this place because its family owned and run, however they are a bit amateur with how they run the place and the worst part is the multiple over-bookings while we were there for only 3 nights. good: * close to the bus station * easy walk to grocery store * easy walk to the old town... We stayed three nights after Carnival, and the place was overbooked for our first night. We spent the first night in one bed for the two of us. We were told we would only pay for one bed, but we ended up just getting a discount, but not the entire price of the bed off. The place has two 8-person... More

Stayed here for 4 nights during celebration of the republic and had a great time. Very few rooms here but great value. close to everything in paraty as it is a small town. Full kitchen available to anyone and drinking water is provided as a small bonus to guests. Betters speak some portugese here if you have any questions for... More

I really liked this hostel, stayed 2 nights and we had the 6-bed dorm to ourselves as the other guests were in other dorms so that was nice! Good size rooms, clean bathrooms and a good, if simple, breakfast. Good location between the bus station and old town. Not far at all to walk anywhere. Has a very relaxed feel.... More

It keeps what the reviews promise! Very lovely family run hostal in the centre of town (not the old part, but 3 min away). Cleanest hostal i have ever stayed at, large well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, nice big lockers and friendly owners (they only speak Portugese though, but not many people in Brasil speak English anyway), WIFI working very... It iwas actually a home of people that they turned into a hostel and that is the feeling it has. And a sweet home at that. You feel at home: kitchen accessible and extremely well equipped, rooms are clean, spacious enough and air-conditioned. Perfect location, and the people who work here add such a special character.

I was supposed to stay only a couple of nights but I ended up staying 4. It is a very clean hostel and Carmen takes care of his guests very well. Offer Free Wifi, Sky Tv, delicious breakfast (fresh made juice, milk, coffee, 2 sandwich with cheese and ham and sometimes a piece of cake). It was usually not a... More
