We stayed for 5 nights. Our room had an upstairs bedroom and downstairs living area overlooking a private courtyard. The breakfasts had fresh melons, coffee, juices and breads. Everthing was excellent: location, amenities and our host.

This beautiful gem of a hotel totally exceeded our expectations, & we expected it to be great anyway due to reviews. Location is excellent, in the old town & a road away (30 seconds) from the sea/port so you get the best of both. The house itself, the owner once lived in & it is looked after & loved as... More

This was an excellent stay. Very welcoming. Comes with breakfast. Great rooms. Rooms have air conditioning. Located in the quieter part of the old town. We had a fun time while staying and would highly recommend this place for your stay. Enjoy

If you want to stay in the heart of Paraty, Human Patrimony, you´ll have to stay in a guest house. There are no hotels, since there are no buildings, just houses. In the old town, all houses have become stores, restaurants or guest houses, with 2, 3 or at the most, 4 rooms each. When we arrived to Paraty, we... More

With only 3 bedrooms in a small beautifully-restored town house, this place is excellent. Location is good and quiet, owner is nice, rooms are very spacious and well-furnished, decor fantastic, breakfast is wonderful. It deserves longer than the 2 nights we spent here. Hard to think of any criticism at all. A hotel where I am told to take off... More

Arriving at Casa de Paraty late at night after the most horrendous trip from Rio was heaven. This is a very beautiful house, very tastefully decorated, with attention to detail, and a most welcoming host. This is a house where you feel at home and wish you were staying for longer. Having booked two rooms, one for the children and... More

Excellent accommodation in a lovely town. Immaculate and spacious rooms in a colonial house. My only criticism is that, as the owner asked us to specify what we wanted for breakfast I was disappointed that we were served a generic breakfast that did not seem to take note of our tastes. Also the breakfast was not always punctual which can... More

We stayed here in June 2014 as part of our honeymoon/world cup tour! It is extremely well presented and very relaxing. It was well located in the historical centre (although this does mean carrying suitcases over very large cobbles!) It was nice and quiet, especially as there are only three rooms. We would definitely recommend this pousada

Beautiful pousada! Lovely big and comfy room, lovely living room/commum area and impeccable service! We stay only for 2 nights in the main room and we loved the privacy and décor! Bfast was lovely and anytime you wish! I got ready for our wedding there with my bridesmaid and we had a great time! A must stay in Paraty if... More

This very small pousada is located very well, very close to other casas. The historic center is a great place to stay with plenty of restaurant options. We stayed in the main suite; spacious, comfy large bed, quiet, bathroom fine. No real sea view because of trees. Breakfast is quite nice, although it was not ready by 8 as indicated.... More
