This is up there for one of my favourite hostels on the planet. It's a party place, so please don't get me wrong, but the owner is an absolute legend, and the people you meet I can guarantee will be friends for life. If I...More

Clean dorms with big locker space under most bunk beds as well as smaller lockers for use, however the main downfall was the amount of bathrooms/showers. Only two bathrooms with one shower and toilet each upstairs between approximately 50+ guests. There are two showers downstairs...More

Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local
artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this
neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors
can now stroll through this area to view magnificent
mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th
century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a
former mansion turned museum which houses works by
prominent Brazilian modern artists.
