Central location, spacious room and very high cleaning standards. Booked this place for our last two nights in Rio before travelling back home. Were positively surprised. One minor thing that was special is the lady that checked us in. She did not make you feel welcome at this place and was not helpful contrary to the rest of the staff...

This is the best place to stay in Rio De Janeiro if you want a convenient affordable place. To make the story short, when I got to Jucati Hotel I was not expected the service would be that great!! OMG I like that place -- staff at the front desk in the morning and afternoon speak English well. There is...

Great clean rooms. Staff speak English. Gil at the reception was particularly fun and very helpful with information to get around tourist places. Supermarket close by. Copacabana Beach is a 10 minute walk. Metro also close by. Recommend it for families with children.

Upon arrival staff member was not too polite and they were not prepared for our arrival. Room was very large. We requested a twin room and got 4 beds, kitchen and diner. There was a dead cockroach on floor, but this was swept away by staff member when alerted. One staff member (male, English speaker) was particularly polite. gave good...

We stayed 3 nights in mid August 2014 in apartment 408. Arrived late evening, check-in was quick, note that you have to pay in cash in local currency prior to your stay The bedroom was spacious with a double bed and in-room safe. The dining area was a bit cramped with a dining table, 4 chairs, a TV and a...

This apartment hotel seems to cater to families. We had one bedroom with 2 twin beds and a plain room with bunk beds and a small table with chairs. The apartment included a small kitchen with a stove, fridge and basic supplies, and of course a bathroom. What is great about this place is the location, just a few blocks...

The Jucati Building's location is great. You're near shops, supermarkets, subway stations and just a couple of blocks from the beach. The neighborhood is excellent. The hotel is in front of a square where you can see people walking around 24/7. There's a policeman guarding the area too. The building's staff are very kind. They were always willing to help...

This is a really nice, affordable place to stay in Rio. The location is great - really close to Copacabana beach, fun bars and restaurants, and public transportation. The rooms won't blow you away, but they're clean, roomy, and have a nice kitchen space. Besides, you're in Rio, so you shouldn't be spending too much time in your room anyways....

Perfect location on Copacabana. Clean and spacious apartment with kitchen. All the staff at front desk were very helpful. Providing information on nearby supermarkets, restaurants, arranging taxi to the international airport for only 50 R$. Extended check out time for free wasn't an issue either. Would stay here again.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
