+ Location. Close to Metro and flamengo beach. Pleasant area with a familiar atmosphere. + Breakfast + Rooftop area is nice, even though the swimming pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures. Nice view! + Friendly and helpful staff - The "gym" (Tiny room with 5 ancient cardio machines and a few light barbells) is the worst we...

The staff were all very friendly and had excellent English (there is very little English in Rio as a whole). We got especially great service from Patricia on reception and Gilvan in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet had an excellent spread, especially of very tasty cakes. Other options included fresh fruit, breads and eggs/bacon. The only disappointment was the cereal...

Hotel possui um preço bom para a temporada, é perto do metro e da para pegar as vans para o Cristo diretamente do lado do hotel. O que foi ótimo, apenas acredito que o café da manhã poderia ser melhor. I've been there for new year's eve, the hotel is really close to the metro station and next to Largo...

The rooms are not great, but clean and does have many amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to transport making it easy to get around Rio. The hotel also has a poll area.

Hotel was ok.. Near subway so it was convenient to get around but not close to walk most places. Staff was friendly. Room was clean but very plain and simple. I would rate it between 3-4 stars...could use a little updating

The hotel was well placed if you want to get a good feel for the locals. It is not the glitz and glam of the Copacabana, so maybe split your vacation a few days here and a few days at Copacabana beach. We really enjoyed the neighbourhood as it was walking distance from the beach; shops; restaurants and museums. The...

We spent 3 nights here over the Reveillon time. In these days we never spent too much time in the rooms as we were trying to get as many RJ views in as possible. The staff were extremely helpful, could speak English and always had a smile. The room was basic, but was everything you need for a tourist stay!...

Very good location, close to metro, beach, shops, city centre. The staff are great, helpful and most of them speak English. The room is comfortable, clean, modern. The breakfast has lots of varieties: fruits, breads, juices, .... Free internet and wifi. Has a beautiful roof terrace with amazing views!

Terrible Wifi, tiny pool area and VERY expensive extras...... The wifi barely worked throughout the duration of our stay (5nights), the gym isn't a gym (old an very little equipment), and the pool area is grubby and nowhere near enough sun loungers. There is always leftover food on empty tables baking away in the heat! You have to wait for...
