The people at the hostel were so friendly and really helpful! Amazing view, amazing beers and an amazing Favella. We felt completely safe walking through the streets, and we walked up to the two brothers! One of the best views ever experienced! GO TO THE HOSTEL!

I had not any problem, and the environment was quiet and peaceful. Nice place to take a bus or a bike and distress yourself. The breakfast was really good and healthy, is easy to find a supermarket, and there is very peaceful to take a walk in the night into the Favela.

Many people will comment on the visuals and the location, but I must focus the attention of visitors on the hospitality. I was very blessed to visit in the beginning of the summer when everyday is a beautiful beach day, but I most appreciate the hostels, setting up of visits to small local beaches that were not full of tourist,...

Very nice place with very nice staff. Amazing view on the ocean. This hostel is in a favela but the place is very safe with a police car in front 24h/d. It's easily reachable by bus, walking distance from the beach. I had a very good time there!

It is located in a favela, but it's really safe and neighbors are cool people. Not far away from Leblon, in a really calm place...

Stayed here for 3 weeks during the World Cup and was definitely a little nervous coming solo to Rio. In retrospect, I was really lucky and found a great place for my whole stay. The atmosphere of this hostel was amazing and after 3 weeks I had a hard time leaving. The owners, Luis and Andre, were great and always...

Stayed at Vidigalbergue for 3 weeks during the World Cup and it really did seem like a 2nd home. Hostel workers Gabby and Rafa are great fun always willing to join in with the fun and games. There are no issues with this being in a favela, i never once felt unsafe and there is a constant Police presence. The...

Andre and Luis the owners are great fun, and everyone strived to look after us during the cup. A great location, don't worry about it being a favela, it's 100%...
