My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a good location, immaculately clean, great value with really helpful friendly staff. The breakfast was varied and very tasty and the rooms modern and spacious. We had been trying to book something through a Brazilian website but due to the language barrier we couldn't work it out....

The staff were fluent in English and very helpful and polite. We ate at the restaurant a few times for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was pretty good. There's a good variety for complimentary breakfast. Lunch and dinner is more pricey than food outside but it's nice to sit in the quiet environment as there are quite a lot...

The Arosa Rio is inexpensive, for Rio, and comes with a great staff and pleasant breakfast restaurant. Rooms are utilitarian in amenities, but clean and bright. Mine was HUGE; one of the largest hotel rooms I've been in outside of a bona fide executive suite. I don't know whether I was upgraded or drew a lucky straw, but it was...

Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback from your stay in Arosa Rio Hotel. We appreciate your kind words about our comfortable and modern rooms. We would like to suggest some restaurants nearby the hotel: Lapa (4 quarters from the hotel) and Santa Teresa (a R$15,00 taxi ride). We are very glad to hear that your stay in our hotel...

Got a "deal"from Hotels.com for a one night stay, title of the promotion ad said: "save now 33% for last available room", when I saw the original price of over R$ 300 and was getting it for less then R$200, I thought I was making a great deal, until I checked in. For starters, when we got to the front...

I stayed with my boyfriend in Arosa for a week at the beginning of June. Our room was on the 2nd floor, street-facing. The room was big enough, the bathroom was always clean and beautiful. The breakfast is amazing. You can choose from a wide variety of fruits, eggs, hams, cheeses, sweets, teas, sausages, bakeries etc. After 7 days in...

This hotel will be fantastic, once finished, but we are sure it will be out of our price range when it is complete! We arrived and almost missed the entrance, as it looked like a building site. Staying in Centro

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro
Downtown Rio is the place where this city was born. With modern skyscrapers sharing space with historical buildings and landmarks, this neighbourhood is living proof that the old and the new can live together harmoniously. As you would expect, downtown is where all major companies house their offices. However, the region isn’t restricted to businesses. Gems such like the “Paço Imperial,” which is a cultural centre that used to serve as a residence for governors of Brazil, can be found here. Pedra do Sal, a Monday night street party, is also in this neighbourhood. This landmark is the birthplace of samba and is famous for its “roda de sambas” (“dance circles”). Stop in for one and get closer to discovering where Brazilian happiness comes from.
