7 nights during paralympic games. The hotel staff were very helpful (they were particularly patient with my poor Portuguese language skills). The room was basic, but very clean. There was a fridge in the room which was handy and air conditioning. The room was very...More
Terrible. Old, dirty and noise acomodations. The matresses must be 10 years old. The noise from the surround avenues, and nearby bars, is very high.
The building is very old, one elevator, No restaurant for breakfast. Safety must be an issue due to the location.
Before travel I was a bit anxious as they did not send confirmation. However on arrival everything was alright. The staff was helpful, rooms were clean. They have fridge in the rooms. Location is great, the beach is 5 minutes. From the airport the bus...More
I stayed 4 nights at Copamar hotel. The staff is adorable. Smiling, willing to help, very customer friendly. Simply fantastic. Especially when I compare this to the usual customer service you get in Rio which do not impress me much.

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
