I spent one night in this hotel. Location is very good, it have its own parking for 45R/night but those stars are not correct. You do not suspect anything at the reception, untill you notice world clock on the wall - clock for Tokyo is missing, there is just empty hole named Tokyo. Price was very good. One night, two...

First of all, I vote for the perfect location of this hotel - near Copacabana, next to the metro station, a lot of shops, fast foods and cafeterias around. Personell was friendly and helpful, special thanks to Polyanna!! Room and facilities were ok. Breakfast could be better (( I guess, it is designed for the tastes of South America habitants,...

About 30 minutes taxi ride from the Airport gets you to this hotel which boasts of being a Four star Hotel. No problem in locating the hotel. Being quite close to the famed Copa Cabana beach, scores high marks on location. In the close vicinity there were p-lenty of eateries , bars & other shops of daily needs, with taxis available...

Well we were looking forward to a nice short holiday with the family but this hotel really changed the relaxing holiday into a challenge!! Our room was dirty and not well equipped. We stayed with 2 persons in a room for 4 persons. Though we had to empty our suitcases on one of the beds since the cupboards were either...

We stayed for eight day over Carnaval 2016. The staff was friendly and the location we good. It was quiet at night. The price was pay too high for the hotel, but I understand every hotel raises their prices during Carnaval. The "pool" on top is more like a hot tub. The rooms on the higher floors (9 and 10)...

Major renovations needed. Sheets had stains in them. There was one day where the turn down service wasn't available. The bathroom ceiling were these crates that you can see the pipes through them and I was scared something was going to crawl from down there. The staff was nice but the level of customer service and comfort-ability was not worth...

It was New Years eve when I stayed in the hotel. Being not far from Copacabana beach the hotel was overpriced for what it offered. But as is well known at the time of New Years hotel tariff around this area hit the roof. Regardless, I found the hotel facilities very basic. Toilet was very tight, and provided with most...

How do they award stars? is not worthy of 4, 2 star max. Had a bad start when they told me that had no parking spaces, the bell hop gave me directions, he was however not really interested and actually sent me into a favela, luckily I survived and found some local parking, which was an extortionate price, 400R$ For...

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
