The hostel itself was good.
The staff who spoke English were incredibly helpful and willing to go out of their way to help. However a few spoke very limited English.
The cleanliness of the hostel itself was good (I got unlucky with dirty roommates) however...More

I stayed in this hostel because a friend of mine lived close, if he didn't I would have left after the first day. There is no hostel atmosphere, my dorm was very smelly and the last night they wouldn't let my boyfriend in at 3...More

Brazil > State of Rio de Janeiro > Rio de Janeiro > Copacabana / Leme
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
