Decent place to stay in Rio, very closer to famous beaches and 10 mins walk to Rio Sul Shopping Center which are perfect! They gave us a very good map for sightings. As well we are impressed at the size of bedroom that look big and very clean. The staff are very helpful especially solved the problem we had and...

Gloomy Rooms bad break fast no facilities in the hotel very dingy corridors except for the proximity to Copacubana beach. Lighting is bad. Bathrooms are very small and especially western commode is so claustrophobic

The reception area is quite nice as you walk into the hotel but when you get into the lift and walk along the corridor to your room you start to have doubts. But when you open the door to your room it is a different world. A nice spacious room with a great bed ! The service is good. The...

Just spent a week here during the start of carnaval. The staff was exceedlingly friendly. Rooms nice and clean. The beach about 100m away. The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing, every day the same food and not a lot of variety to start with.

This hotel is very near the Leme end of Copacabana beach, which makes it easy to get to. Inside it is nothing special: the room was pretty ordinary and there was no view of anything much. But who comes to Copacabana and sits in their hotel room? The price is not high (certainly compared to what you would pay a...

Once I had decided that I wanted to stay in Copacabana for my stay in Rio, I came across this hotel and am extremely glad I did. I wasn’t too fussed with the hotel not being on the waterfront next to the beach as this inevitably means a higher price, so as long as it was within a 10 minute...

Been travelling around Brasil and this is one the most valuable hotel I have found. 2 blocks away from Copacapana, you can do some jogging, and felling like you were in the Paradise. Then and if your are fan of tropical fruits you can have an orgasmic breakfast. Finally, the cityseeing tour is worthy, you have fun and huge information about...

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
