We stayed just one night at the hotel, on the way back to Europe from Ilha Grande. The rooms were very good and clean. The wifi weren't super but ok. Breakfast was good and the location, very close to Copscabana, was great. Very very friendly staff

The hotel is located in the middle of Copacabana, about 100m from the beach. Every sunday you can visit the market with fresh fruit, fish and vegetables in front of the hotel. The hotel offers organized trips (favela, Maracaná - is closed until olympic games!, beaches,...). Area is safe, with many restaurants, banks and shopps. Metro is not far. Bus...

We've been in Rio for Carnival. The hotel was a little bit far from Sambodromo but to any other places it was easy to get by public transport: buses or subways. 5-7 minutes walking distance to the beach, a lot of different nice shops, minimarkets, pharmacies around the hotel. Cheap market just across the street was working several times a...

Good value room for price. Convenient location. Very close to the metro station if you want to go to other districts. Cabs were always easy to find outside the hotel. Stores such as supermarkets/pharmacies/restaurants are nearby. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Pros - central safe location, a few minutes walk to copacabana palace, very close to bus stops that can take you to the shopping centre/ipanema/sugarloaf mountain/christ the redeemer. Spacious clean rooms, very comfortable. Great reception staff - had good recommendations and tips! Cons - patchy wifi (had to go to reception to use, small corner in our room to access...

The location was excellent in Copacabana near the beach and lots of shops and supermarkets around. Small outdoor pool on the roof, clean rooms and nice breakfast. We stayed 6 nights with reasonable price.

Good location, near to the beach. Excellent service, big rooms and bathroom. Variety of food in breakfast. But, it has a tiny pool and also, slow wifi internet connection in the bedroom. It is cheap in comparison with other hotels. I would come back.

Nice big room, comfortable bed, very nice bathroom and shower. Breakfast was very good too. Staff was very friendly. We were given a top floor front facing room, with a nice view of the park across and a partial beach/ocean view. Despite being on a very busy street, the room was quiet except for the A/C.

This is a good hotel. Very close to the beach (3-5 min, 2 blocks), nice breakfast (though no cheese breads "pao de queijo"), large room, free safe in the room, ok internet, good and comfortable beds. My only complaints are: gym is very basic, some free weights and a cable machine that wasnt working the day that I went there,...

Group of 3 friends travelling, this hotel was perfect for us! Clean big spacious rooms, great fun location. The staff are so good and attentive and also very helpful from the restaurant to the lobby, to the staff cleaning the rooms and the reception. They really made an effort to understanding what we wanted- English speaking. Excellent room service and...

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
