1. Stuffy, dark and small double room. The only window in the room looks at three close walls. A/c is too noizy. 2. You hear all neighbors and everyone in corridor. All these people hear you. Because of a window in the shower you as though take a bath all together with all hotel guests. 3. No slippers and bathrobes....

We stayed here for 6 nights during the carival period, it's view over the beach is simply amazing. The rooms are kinda tiny, but the bed is comfortable. You wont spend that much time in your room other than when you are sleeping, so the size of the room wont matter that much (if you're a pair like us) The...

The room was not that great, but the pool area gave a very nice view at the copacobana beach. I got a good deal on Expedia, so would probably not have stayed there if it's wasn't for the good price. But a nice hotel.

Rooms are too small and the bath tub was dirty, breakfast was really good and is included, the pool is really small but the view is fantastic. Front desk people are just ok, however the pool waitress Rafael was so nice and meet all our expectation, he spaeks English and Portuguese and is super friedly

Pros: - Location - Location - Location (across the street from Copacabana) - Views were fantastic (both of Christ the Redeemer from the terrace as well as the beach) - Nice places to eat closeby - Cabs are all over the place Cons: - Can't think of any...slow check in but that is really nit picking

The rooms are small. Breakfast is included. You are right across Copacabana beach. Small pool on the roof with bar service. Great view of Copacabana beach on the roof. Tours to Sugar Loaf and Christ The Redeemer are near by. Small room or not, you are out most of the time anyway. Friendly staff if you need information.

My partner and I visited this hotel in Aug/Sept 2016. We had a room on the 6th floor with a sea view. It had a large, comfortable king size bed that would have easily accommodated four children! The bathroom had a bath, shower and two sinks and the shower was nice and powerful. The views of the beach were excellent...

The hotel is situated beachfront. Has a great pool and terrace with bar service. Room was tiny, but comfortable. Service was good. The breakfast was VERY good, great selection and quality. For a 4 star hotel it is kind of average.

Very average for a 4 star and the claims it made. The pool was closed for 2 days which was the main reason we chose the hotel for our 10 day stay. The room was comfortable, beds were good and the room well done for a 4 star. The location is excellent as its on the beach and close to...

Good location, safe close to all of your needs. Has a breakfast buffet included in the price. Very good buffet to start the day at 0600. If you book tours, they seem to all pick you up right here. The beach is just across the road out front on av. Atlântica. In the morning all lanes of traffic go in...

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
