This is our 2nd stay in one of the cabins. We love the cabin, nice setting on the river. Staff is friendly and the cabin was clean. We would stay again. Only drawback to cabins is they are a little pricey.

The Flying Saddle in Alpine is probably the nicest place to stay in Alpine. It has a beautiful main lodge with a nice restaurant and bar. While they do rent cabins, the main hotel is actually a "motel" with rooms that are entered from outside....More
