Great for music festival, getting away, scenic chairlift, etc. Just wish they were offering mountain biking lessons weekend of Targhee fest. Great annual thing. Hope to get to ski there one day. Check out Driggs while visiting.

I was not impressed for the price of the room. It was old, outdated, musty, stained carpet, dark, and had limited working outlets. The bathroom was moldy and dirty. Luckily we only slept there for a few hours. I couldn't imagine staying much longer. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even called after they found something we left behind... More

The drive up to the resort was beautiful. But we assumed the rooms were air conditioned THEY ARE NOT!! After a day of riding coming back to a hot room is not a great experience. The rooms were clean the food in the bar was good and they had good coffee in the room. Just wished they had air conditioning.

This resort had everything you need on top of a mountain. Horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking trails, dining and a pool were all available. Horseback riding was beautiful, Anna was very nice- not overly talkative but pleasant. Hiking trails were great. Pool was clean. The rooms were clean and well stocked with the necessities for our stay. The experience outside... More

Rooms were very nice. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We arrived rather late and was not fond of the road to the resort. This was a one night stay for us, and would recommend to travelers who wish to stay for longer period. We would stay at again.

Grand Targhee for us was a mixed bag. It's in a spectacularly beautiful location. It accepts dogs, at a reasonable rate, and it's quiet. The room itself was beyond basic to say it needs an update is an understatement. The toilet is circa 1960's, so small it would work in a preschool. (Ok I just checked it - 1976, that's... More

Grand tar ghee resort would be more fun in winter when winter sports are available . Not much to do at this time of year for young teenagers except hiking and biking. There is a nice outside pool but a bit cold for these Cali teens. Went looking for warm drinks but nothing open except restaurant. (No gift shops etc).... More

The way skiing should be! Little to no lift lines, great snow, great terrain and amazing views. Fun groomers, steeps, trees, wide open ungroomed - it's all good! I've only skied 2 days here, once in 2015 solo and once in 2016 with a good friend and I just booked a 4 night stay with my family for 2017! Can't... More

Unlike it's neighbor to the east (Jackson Hole) Targhee is comfortable skiing for all levels. Don't pay a fortune to spend most of your day in lift lines at other places. Drive another hour and ski right up to the next chair after almost every run. So much snow that the locals only show up on spectacular days. Hotel rooms... More

Grand Targhee is a great ski resort for families. The snow is spectacular and it's natural, no hoses. Prices are reasonable, lift lines are short, the staff are helpful and friendly, and they have a great ski and snowboard school. The housing is mediocre and so is the food. But all in all it's a great destination for a family.
