A pretty decent hotel in Piracicaba and the one I normally stay in. The rooms are fairly big, clean and air conditioned. They are though very spartan and in some way a little hospital like. Attached to the hotel is a great BBQ place which serves quality meat.

This is said to be one of the best hotels in Piracicaba. It is a bit worn out though if you compare with hotels in Europe and North America. The location is very nice though. You can walk straight to the river bank and also it is only a couple of blocks to walk to the old church with the...

Beira Rio Hotel is a good hotel. Well located, great and helpful staff, good parking lot, great breakfast and excellent bed !! We stayed only for the weekend, but it was enough time to see that it is a good place to stay when visiting Piracicaba. I recommend it !!

Admittedly there is not much to choose from in Piracicaba, but this is one of the best places to stay. Yes the AC is loud by american standards, but the room is good, fairly well built, very clean and a good location for walking distance dinning. Staff is more than accommodating, a few have very good English, if your Portuguese...

The hotel is very well located, near Esalq, restaurants, mall. The rooms are not so big, but big enough for a comfortable stay. The bed is really comfortable, but the air conditioner was too loud. This needs to be fixed. The service was not so good, was people didn't know about their on menu and were not so friendly. I...

Stayed there for a weddig in Piracicaba. Good value and well located. Rooms are simple but have the basics and everything working neatly. We'd use it again when in Piracicaba. Decent bar at the hotel entrance to have some beers on a hot summerd ay.

Hotel is average for Brazilian Hotels, nice staff, good breakfast, simple and clean rooms ()better book one to the back - view to the river is noise from a big street inclusive.. The Pool is quite small, old, close to the street but good enough for a short refreshment

I spent two nights ( and paid 3) during a recent business trip at the Beira Rio Palace. Checked in at 10:00 am after an overnight international flight and in order to ensure the room early availability I was obliged to pay for a full day fare. I spent a little over a week in Piracicaba on a business trip. The Beira Rio is a well maintained hotel form the 60'ties (?!). Its biggest asset is the terrace with the Laguna-style pool and the outside bar. It has a small but well equipped gym. Breakfast features everything from fresh fruits to müsli to harty things.
