We stayed at this hotel twice because of the price and the location. The room well decorated and the bathroom has very good size and great shower. The breakfast was ok. On the second time that we stayed there, I asked for some hot water for my sister in law's kid but they did not provided it, and they did...

This is a fairly basic, characterless hotel. Other than limited breakfast it's hard to think of any bad points though and the hotel would be fine as a Sao Paulo base or for a business trip. We only stayed for one night.

The hotel had friendly, helpful staff. It was very clean. I really liked the simplistic black and white decor. Not located very centrally but in a city the size of Sau Paulo that is not a problem. Good breakfast. Free wi-fi. I just don't understand why you never get a kettle on rooms in Brazil? Would be great to make...

Don't be fooled by the swanky appearance of this hotel! When we went to check in, 3 men were behind the counter and it took them 5 minutes to acknowledge us, which I thought was very rude. And even after the acknowledgement, did not apologize for ignoring us. We were not shown to our room. Room was ok, however, it...

Despite reviews I read before booking this, the location isn't the best for tourists. The rooms were clean and of a reasonable size although the bathroom is a little small. This hotel is a little noisy due to its proximity to a main road. Wifi is free.

This is a new boutique style hotel. excellent location in the city. There are some 17 floors with 2 elevators (of which only one works). The windows in the rooms are locked - for oxygen you are dependent on their a/c system. During our stay the elevator doors were being painted. We were almost asfixiated from lack of air (and...

The Hotel 155 is a budget hotel. The only reason to choose it is to save money. It is very no frills, and the location not close to anything of interest, unless a certain adult nightlife is of interest to you. There was one small elevator as the other was broken. The working elevator broke too, just when we needed...

The check in was fairly smooth. Unfortunately there was only 1 elevator serving 10 floors for the 3 nights we were here. The elevators are quite small and could only fit 2 people and one suitcase or one person and 2 suitcases. We have experienced worse though. The single operating elevator broke down for a couple of hours soon after...

Staying in Consolacao

Neighbourhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical centre of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighbourhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
