Not a bad hotel. The room was excellent, even including a kitchen. Breakfast was ok, but after 4 mornings of the same things, became a bit boring. For a business hotel with a high room rate, it seems a bit funny to then charge for the internet! Hotel location good. The area seemed safe, which was good as the restaurant...

Stayed for 5 nights. Average room. Wifi was not included though the room rent was high; more over the quality of internet connection was very bad! Service was not great. The only thing I liked was the good breakfast. Won't go back again.

I stayed there with my family (2 kids of 12 & 14) over Christmas. We got a very spacious and comfortable 2 room with 2 bathrooms for a reasonable price for SP during this time of the year. Despite at a large junction, the rooms were pretty quiet: you could hardly hear the noise from the streets. The interior was...

The staff couldn't be less welcoming the simple task of checking in seemed to be a huge chore We were very dissatisfied with the service we received, 1- We were left to walk form the car to the reception with our bags in the rain although there was a doorman with a umbrella standing 5 meters away who was also...

You'll need to know the following before staying at George V: - Rooms are nice - large apartment style, a perfect Sao Paolo pad for a business trip if your office is local to the hotel. And hope you speak Portuguese, taxi drivers don't know the hotel. - The breakfast is adequate. The bad bits: - They charge you BRL28...

During my several business trips to Sao Paulo, I stayed always at the George V. The room are nice and well equiped, the breakfast is really good with a lot of fresh fruits and a good service. In the evening, you can find some places around to have a drink or a dinner in a mostly safe environment.

Good hotel for business. Room fine with good amenities. Nice and big, massive bed. Only downside was the room faced the main road, so traffic all night which kept me awake. However it is very close to the centre so will stay again accompanied by ear plugs.

Sao Paulo is huge, expensive and difficult to navigate. This hotel is well located, rooms are large, clean, functional, comfortable. You get a mini apartment with a kitchenette, lounge and bedroom, so if like me you are having to work, it is ideal. Facilities outside the room are a bit limited. There is a gym, and tiny pool, but they...

I stayed at the George V for 6 nights while in town on business. I was very pleased with the room - a large, apartment-like style with a kitchen and sitting room as well as the bedroom, walk-through closet and bath. Security was very good - each floor had to have an access card to allow you to get to...

Staying in Pinheiros

Neighbourhood Profile
Pinheiros
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighbourhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centres and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
