Comfort is OK. Not a 4-star hotel, more like a 3-star serviced apartment. Internet is IMPOSSIBLE to connect to and when you do connect the speed is extremely slow. Can’t work at all from here. Breakfast is extremely poor. Having said that, the location is fantastic and the rooms are pretty comfortable. Get a room facing the back of the hotel if you don’t like the relentless noise from the streets.

First impression, the hotel room looks nice, is spacious and very clean. Unfortunately there were numerous negatives which included a cheap mattress with little padding, a green flashing light from the smoke detector in my eye-line when trying to fall asleep, no usb plug points or many sockets. Most annoying was having a kitchenette with no kettle, mugs or spoons! On asking reception if they provide kettles we were advised if we wanted boiling water/mugs to request from the restaurant. We can’t see the purpose of having a kitchenette if they’re not going to provide the basics! Being an international hotel I would have also expected a couple of English speaking tv channels.
WiFi was rubbish throughout the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre.
Gym and pool looked alright but we didn’t have time to use.
Location was reasonable but we wouldn’t stay here again. I think there are probably better properties available within the same price range.

A really good value option for our short stay in Sao Paulo. Our room was comfortable and a good size. The bathroom was a little tight for space but it was perfectly useable. A reasonable breakfast.
The location just off Paulista Avenue was great - very close to a big mall and it's food court plus several other bars and restaurants nearby.
The best thing was great views from the roof top bar - great for watching the sunset.

We had planned to stay in this hotel for 2 nights.
But the morning after the first night, we discovered a DIRTY UNDERWEAR at the foot of the bed which surely belonged to the previous guests.
We immediately pointed this out to the manager who offered to upgrade us to the presidential suite which we refused, we wanted to leave immediately.
He never wanted to reimburse us for the night we spent there with these underwear on the floor in the middle of the covid period. By specifying to us that we did not sleep outside. No, we slept in a room with dirty underwear on the floor.
There was the most bizarre thing was happening with us i'd never had the same thing happened in my life.

We stayed 2 nights. The first night, the A/C was out in the whole building. They didn't even bother to tell us we had to bring it up to them, and then they decided to share it was out in the whole building. The internet wasn't working. The staff was unfriendly and not helpful. Nobody would even acknowledge us or offer to help. I would not recommend this hotel nor will I stay here again.

What a place… love this location in São Paulo. This was my first time at this hotel. Everything was great!! From front desk to the bar and the food. Breakfast with great selections of fruits and impressive diet cake. What a comfort here. I totally recommended. Last hour I spoke with one of the guest and said the food at rooftop it’s amazing. I must come back!

I have stayed many nights at Transamerica (nearly 300 nights) and for the most part it was fine. It is located in right off Paulista and close to all the big businesses. The cleaning staff, bell boys, waiters and frontdesk were excellent and really tried to make us feel at home. The rooms are relatively decent. Nothing special, a little dated with the furniture but decent.
The big issue with the hotel is structural. There are some issues that the staff can't fix and management refuses to address. First the internet is terrible. It is slower the 1990's dial up and is out of service at least 24 hours per week if not more. While internet is slower in Brazil than some countries, it is not this slow, I know this for a fact as I have lived here a long time. Also, the management does not empower their staff to be flexible which led to countless challenges. A simple request would be turned down because the staff said "the manager said no" and I would later have to talk with the manager and he would quickly come to his senses and allow my request. If the manager was available this would not be an issue, however he is rarely around and if you need to talk with him you have to seek him out. When you do speak with him he is very rude and unpleasant. One time he got annoyed when I tried to speak with him while he had breakfast! As a business traveller whose company has many other of their employees staying there I had to reject sending more employees there until they figure out their management issue.

-Wifi in hotel is not working for days or poorly working at all in the rooms. Lobby wifi worked the whole time which resulted in crowded lobby
-rooms are not soundproof. Conversations can be heard literally from next door (via ventilation in bathroom) or from outside the room (hallway).
-breakfast doesn't offer any healthy choice such as vegetables, wholewheat bread or fresh juices. It's all pastry and cheap bread
-cleaning could be a lot better, it's not thorough. After checkout my colleague that left her bracelet in the room which was never 'found'.
-neighborhood is great to stay
-pool area is very small
-gym is very simple but mostly is in South America
- staff is not always able to speak English but they try. Found them to be friendly
