Just returned from a week staying at Malina Village. The chalets are quite basic but we all loved staying there, very pretty setting. The restaurant was excellent with a varied menu - something for everyone and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We ate there every night because it was so convenient and very welcoming!

The place is nice as the idea of cabins in the woods is very cosy. But the service in the restaurant is awful - bad food, bad behaviour of the waiters, especially the blonde one with long hair, he should be fired actually. I had a hair in my salad and he argued with me and didn't replace it with...

Very cozy place. Close to Sofia. Really warm inside, perfect for getting away with friends. Has a lot of space and the bedrooms are really interestingly made and comfortable. They accept dogs also. They have a restaurant in the village but it's not that good. There is a kitchen in the room that you can use instead.

Stayed here with my husband for a couple of days in November, we arrived at around 1am and the man on the reception was extremely friendly and helpful despite being able to speak little English. We was pleasantly surprised with the villas, they had a very cosy feel to them and the setting in the pine forest is beautiful and...

On the positive side, the location of the villas under the dense shade of the pines is very good. Even though all villas are close to the road, you can enjoy a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The main problem during our stay was cleanliness. We arrived in the afternoon and we were invited to our villa by a member of...

The chalets are too close to each other. The dedicated parking is in the Yagoda (~200 meters away), so people prefer to park next to the houses, which makes for a really ugly sight. The house itself is poorly furnished. Lack of big outside table and chairs make for an uncomfortable dinner. We were charged 4lv (~2.3$) per bottle of...

I have to say, the place is wonderful, the owners are lucky the villas are situated among such a beautiful forest. However, the kitchen most definitely does not have all the necessary utensils to cook as stated on the website, there's only a pot, there are no knives, oven mittens, baking pots or pans, cutting boards, not even bowls, there...

The village so beautyfull- among the pines, scandinavian exterior, quiet and peace. But when you get inside you see the difference. Its sooo narrow everywhere. In the kitchen, bedrooms, toilet.. I bumped my head nearly 100 times. It is a litlle bit dark here, the bumps are less than 60 W and it is not enough, it's so tiresome for...

This is hands down one of my best places to escape the city life. Only about an hour away from Sofia, the place is basic but offers every comfort that's needed and can be used as a wonderful base from skiing during the winter or hiking during summer.

We were very excited to spend New Year's Eve in this hotel. The location was great - nice snowy forest, quiet. The accommodation was terrible - we found frozen pipes, in the bathroom was very cold, we did not have water 4 days out of 5, cold water 2 days out of 5, - and the personnel did not come...
