We stayed here for 2 nights during September, lovely surroundings in Kaylaka Park, with some lovely walks and views, however the hotel itself is extremely basic.
The rooms are well equipped but don't feel the cleanest, and the bathroom is very small.
The staff were friendly and helpful, but I wouldn't recommend for anything other than a short stop off. The pool also wan,t as advertised and was not in a useable state, so don't expect to be able to swim.

OK so I only paid 80 levs with breakfast included about £40 for a double room. When we arrived I tried to pay with credit card s that I had used before and after successfully on the same trip, but the machine here wouldn't accept any of them. Luckily I had enough levs with me. The woman on the desk wasn't particularly helpful or interested. Anyway we got our key and headed for the lift. It didn't work. We hauled the bags upstairs and I headed for a shower, only to discover the light didn't work and the shower curtain (there was still a rail) was missing. The bedding looked as if it needed a good clean and I was too scared to look under the sheet at the mattress. The toilet cistern was running all night, but was drowned out by the group of youths running and shouting up and down the corridors until nearly midnight. Next morning we came down to breakfast to be served by one of the surliest teenagers I've ever met. Will never return.

firstly im very well travelled worldwide and own a travel agency myself ,,,at first glance the photos are lovely of the hotel on tripadviser ,it does not look like this when you are there the pool looks like its full of sewerage not useable the hotel rooms are filthy like they have never been cleaned and is falling apart at the seams infact the only thing clean in the rooms were the towels they supplied, the reception staff was very nice ,but only started on our day of arrival they only accept cash for the room on checkin this hotel i would imagine was very nice in its day ,we had food in the hotel bar to be fair was quite nice ,the barman was helpful ,the area hotel situated was nice 100 meters down the road there is a beautiful lake with stunning views overlooked by high cliffs
there is no where else to go unless you drive into pleven ,i was told that the hotel has many russian coach tours with many complaints of which im not suprised ,,
trip adviser what are you playing at send someone to look at this hotel and remove it from your listing we booked through booking .com this hotel is a health liability

This fabulous hotel is not well advertised but it should be, as it sits in an enchanted forest high up above a lake-filled gorge. The rooms are large, fresh, and sparklingly clean, with an incredibly large bathroom, and the view from our balcony literally knocked our socks off. The rates are typically Bulgarian--incredibly reasonable--and a full American-style breakfast for two came with the price of the room. We stayed for three dream-filled nights. The hotel is a bit difficult to find, but if you go past the giant Kaufland Supermarket on the southeast side of Pleven and head into the Kayluka Nature Reserve up, up, up into the forest, you'll eventually get to it.

We stayed one night and i think it was enough to enjoy all hotel facilities. We booked double rooms and to be honest I expected more then dirty sheets and small unrenovated bathroom. I think we were the only guests in the hotel. I still dont understand how they handle it. The hotel has perfect location surrounded by nature. It looks like awesome location for biking, fishing, jogging, ect. And in advance they offer a pool. But the hotel is empty.

This is the second time that we have stayed in this hotel whilst in the Pleven area and to be honest, I don't know why this hotel is not as well known as the other expensive and overrated hotels in the town centre. We loved the outdoor and indoor pools and the sauna. Our Apartments were great and ours overlooked the Kaylaka Park lake and each had a balcony (Rooms A13 & A14). The reception staff were very helpful although not all spoke English, but this was not a problem as the Bar Staff did. The Bar combined as a Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and tea and you could eat whenever you wished. It also has a terrace where you can eat outside. Price wise, Very reasonable for food and drink and at the time of writing the room rate was about £45 per night. Well worth it for the location. If you need to go into town then taxis are very cheap.
