Good size double room with private bathroom & TV for $20. Great breakfast, best we had in Myanmar. Staff v friendly and helpful, if you wanted more blankets or a flask of boiling water it was never a problem. Showers were hot, just remember to run them for 10 mins - there is a sign saying that. Near jetty for...

We stayed here for 6 nights, due to a throat infection. Perhaps we were lucky, we booked a standard room, but they gave us on arrival, a big room, with the biggest bathroom we have had until now (we are currently a little more than 4 weeks in Myanmar). We even have a bath, with new taps and showerhead. The...

We had a double fan room in the block of rooms next to the reception, not the big towerblock. From what I can gather, the towerblock isn't so good, so avoid it. Our room however was ideal. Hot, powerful shower, clean loo, decent double bed, tv with a few channels, fridge etc. Wifi was some of the best we had...

This is the first hotel Where i stayed in Myanmar and this is a good surprise . Rooms are clean and confortable. Staff is really helpful. The breakfast was amazing with délicious banana pancake. The only bad point is the price for boat trip that is more expensive than to other places. wifi connection is working in the reception.

A very ordinary hotel. Rooms size varies a lot, but ours was ok and clean. One can arrange a boat trip on the lake here but probably not for the best price. There is a buffet style breakfast but that is also pretty standard.

We stayed for 3 nights and the staff were delightful and the room was a larger type and aircon worked, The plugs were an exercise in trial and error but worked with persuasion. Some of the reviewers here seem to have the worst kind of and rather racist expectations. The people and location were a delight to me, but I...

Friendly staff, small rooms, acceptable cleanliness, good breakfast, a bit noisy, good location close to various restaurants. We were there for just one night in December. It was quite cold in the rooms at night.

We stayed here for 9 nights. We escaped from the prettier Teakwood Guesthouse nearby because the owner was rude and difficult to deal with. Our room here was clean, spacious (the largest room we got in Myanmar). The staff was polite and helpful. Overall a good value for the price.

Been there for 3 nights, and I can recommend this place. I arrived very early in the morning, I came from Yangon by overnight bus. I had a reservation yet, check in time was 2pm, but reception offered me a bed to have my urgent nap after the long bus ride without any costs! Cool! Double-room very nice, dunno about...

WiFi worked OK. Good alternatives of breakfast. Bright clean room. Helpful staff, but book bus tickets at the bus station if you want to save a dollar. Got a big room for 12usd with own bathroom. Most crappy electricity installment I've seen in Asia. Not surprised by the other reviews.
